“Good product. Unfortunately delivery takes way too long.Does it really take 4 days to process the item in your warehouse? Amazon and other online shops are far quicker..you get the item within 2-3 days normally.”

“Last minute purchases before going skiing at Easter. Bought girls and boys ski oufits, goggles and gloves and stuff for myself and fiancee. Initially looked at 2nd hand stuff but the price and quality at Decathlon made it a no brainer of a choice!! Kids loved their stuff and my electric goggles with switch between overcast and bright were amazing! Can't recommend enough.”

“Very quick delivery, I was a bit worried that I had ordered what I was looking for but I shouldn't have been the pair of walking trainers are just what I wanted, light weight, comfortable, with good bouncy soles to help with my old arthritic joints. Would recommend very good service thank you.”

“Overall I love decathlon stores and the website is fairly good. On my most recent order, the delivery company messed up and lost my parcel. Emailed Decathlon and the staff promptly sent me a free replacement. Overall the site could do with a few enhancements: - Tried to click and collect once - didn't work - Some questionable translations from French - Some content is missing - e.g. sometime the size guides didn't work (again I think they haven't been translated from the French site so the URL still points to the page that doesn't existing on the UK site.) The only last niggle is the delivery price. Anything over £2 for small items seems expensive.”

“Not many people to help out, staff not very friendly. Maybe because there aren't enough of them and they seem to have trouble getting their breaks. You need to look after your staff better!!!”

“The diawa spinning reel I bought from you online store performed brilliantly, landing barracuda and bonito to ,15kg easily, and it was cheaper than eBay! Arrived really quickly along with the caperlan fishing rucksack I ordered, which was superb too. It also doubled as my cabin bag too. Really pleased with your service, as well as the value and quality of your goods. Thank you!”

“Decathlon, Surrey Quays staff were very helpful, friendly, and polite, in a way I rarely encounter amongst British sales staff in shops. I would go so far as to describe the foreign Spanish and French staff as 'charming'. Although I had to return items because they were not suitable, including a bycyle wheel, that had several components assembled, to my specification, the store offered to show me how to assemble the trainer and refunded me the cost of the wheel. I would return to this store again simply due to the helpfulnness and curtesy of staff. Their merchandise is reasonably priced too, but for me, good customer service always matter more than price of goods.”

“We ordered 2 table tennis tables from Decathlon at a very competitive price. Other suppliers offered free bats and balls but the Decathlon tables were some £50 cheaper than others, so good value. The only minor gripe was that delivery, which had to be co-ordinated with a third party, was slightly delayed. We had been given a time slot and towards the end of this we were told delivery would be later. We would certainly recommend Decathlon and would use them again.”
