“I ordered goods in-store and before buying I confirmed with staff that the goods would be in store the next day a I was going on holiday two days after. The order gave a date of the following day...the next day and the next day and the next day came and went...and I went on holiday. I then got an email telling me that my refund would be processed.....and nearly two months on I am still waiting for a refund. Seems that Decathalon have only reacted to the refund once I contacted my credit card company to place this transaction in dispute. Having providing my credit card details I am still waiting for them to acknowledge that the refund has been processed. Oh and I wrote to the CEO of the company explaining how bizarre his returns policy is - and no response!! Everyone at the company seem to be too busy taking customers money but unable to deliver to the timescales indicated on emails..and then don't want to return money when they confirm via email they will...FRAUD!!!! I'd rather go to Mike Ashley's Sports Direct where you know exactly what you are getting...goods delivered on time with no fuss!!”

“I purchased a selection of items, mainly for my 2 1/2 year old daughter. When they arrived I was impressed. The quality is great for the price paid. One of the items was a red fleecey top - she won't take it off! Will certainly be buying again”

“Good and quick delivery but a pain having to 'register' in order to order instead of just being able to check out using PayPal. I didn't really want an 'account' and then be bombarded with emails. Site needs to easier and quicker to check out - I almost gave up. Product was what I wanted, the price was fair and delivery good however.”

“I placed an order, one of the items sent to me was completely wrong, couldn't get through on the customer service line, emailed, got a response but then could by generate a returns form, again I couldn't call. I enclosed a full explanation within my parcel, then got an email telling me my refund couldn't be processed!! The only helpful person in this whole process was the person who sorted my refund. Will not be ordering online from you again.”

“Have brought 2 bikes one for me and another for my daughter never had any problems and also other accessories from decathlon I wouldn't go anywhere else now and always recommend to family and friends for the first place to go”
