“Love the well thought out practical customer service”

“Great product easy to put up did in under 5mins. Went on holiday to cornwall for 11days. It rained everyday and pritty heavy everyday the tent stood it's ground very well. The wind hit too the tent is strong and sturdy. For a budget price it's a awesome tent. Would recommend.”

“easily able to navigate site to choose product, prompt delivery and the product was of great standard. The bike was well boxed to avoid damage and easy to assemble. Daughter has very quickly learnt how to find without stabilisers due to the ease at which we were able to add/remove them. Very please with product and overall experience, would highly recommend.”

“The online experience was excellent. The instore experience was also excellent, with extremely friendly. professional and helpful staff. What has let the overall experience down has been the inability of customer services to add the purchases which I made at the store at Lakeside, when I collected the online purchase. I have rung on three occasions and each time have been told that the store purchase had been added and that I would soon receive a small voucher. Needless to say, my account is still only showing the points from the online purchase and no voucher has been forthcoming. I would still use Decathlon, but am extremely disappointed with the quality of customer services.”

“As my nearest Decathlon store is 90 miles away in Sheffield I don't use them much. Usually I go to the Edinburgh or Glasgow stores when work takes me up that way (Both about 170 miles). I cycle around North Yorkshire and never see another BTwin bike. Anyone who saw the 2014 T de F or the recent Tour de Yorkshire will realise that this is a large sprorting area.”

“Thank you for asking me to do a review. Always using you shop in Frejus, when on holiday. Also use the new shop in Croyden (an hour and a quarter away from my home), please don't change anything about your shop. You have a winning formular. Staff very professional. But can you please stop the children riding around on display bikes, whilst their parents shop at their leisure /unabated. I personally have had 2 children bash into the back of me whilst looking around. Other than that, top quality shop. Mr. Keith F Smith”

“The whole Decathlon thing is brilliant. I wanted to buy everything in the shop. Great kit, great value BUT....the quality of the staff was extremely poor. I ordered a kayak and a paddle board. When I arrived to pick them up some of the paddles had not arrived but someone had booked the complete order as in. The English girl behind the counter/cashier point repeatedly looked on a shelf full of small parcels for the kayak and board despite me repeatedly telling her how big they were. She was very, very poor. It was only when some of the French staff became involved that the items were found and it was discovered that the paddles were not with them. The English guy who helped me in the car park was also astonishingly dim.”

“This is a brilliant shop I'd never heard of before it came up on google. Excellent customer Service at Thurrock lakeside or equally efficient online. Great products, great prices. Beautiful quality sleeping bag for only £14.99 & great pop up tent for 3 for under £50. If you're going camping or walking you don't need to go anywhere else for all your supplies!!”
