“Decathlon was very quick and efficient but what would help is if the delivery was cheaper or even free. The price of the delivery is what made me click the option for store pick up.”

“First of all can I say that I love Decathlon. I can spend all day wandering around and spend a lot of money there. However, I was very disappointed with my recent experience. I bought some MTB pedals at the Stockport store and the price on the rail said £17.99. Altogether I spent nearly £60 but didn't check my receipt until I got home at which point I found I'd been charged £24.99 for the pedals. I looked online and the price said £17.99 so the next day I returned to the store to query it. I was told that the online price was a generic price and not the price in the Stockport store. I was also told the pedals must have been on the wrong shelf and that £24.99 was what I'd have to pay. I said can you not match the online price and was told no. I said well I'll return them and order online and asked for a refund which I was given. I went home, ordered the pedals on click and collect at the Stockport store for free and a few days later returned to the store to pick up my pedals for £17.99. It seems silly that I had to do this and make extra trips to the store to get a refund and collect my order for the same product. It won't stop me shopping there but I feel you could definitely do something to stop this happening in the future.”

“Number of times in Wandsworth and despite the slightly irregular situation I created by being out of England with 3 different orders waiting for me at the checkout all the helpers were awesome. It appeared none of them had English as a first language but despite this they were perfect and smoothed it over for me. My experience has made me a loyal Decathalon customer. Please pass on my appreciation to the Wandsworth Crew. Sam Doogue”

“The two items were ordered on Sunday evening and were delivered early Tuesday morning---Fantastic. The two items were a Birthday present for my youngest grandson who was six last Saturday. He was absolutely thrilled with his basketball hoop/board and ball and I was thrilled that he was thrilled.”

“The table tennis table was, in itself, excellent. However it suffered a rough delivery and arrived with battered corners of the packaging. Luckily the table corners were themselves undamaged. The package itself appears to have fallen over during transit and the longitudinal metal supports were slightly bent. Fortunately, the table surface appears to be unaffected. So sales service and product were first class but be careful to check deliveries for damage.”
