“The website is broken in many places, which required quite a few attempts to actually buy something. In store it's a great experience, but online is a big let down. The mobile experience is even worse :(”

“After purchasing a bike online for click and collect, we arrived to find that the bike had not been assembled. We waited an hour for the bike to be assembled and checked over. When we got home the bike had been assembled incorrectly meaning my husband had to carry out further adjustments to make the bike useable (chain guard had to be completely taken off and put back on in the correct position to enable the pedals to rotate, rear light in totally the wrong position, cellophane wrapping still left on the mud guards, brake pad positioning had to be tweaked to enable wheel to move freely). We were extremely disappointed by the service we recieved, especially given that we have purchased an assembled bike from Decathlon previously.”

“We ordered some goods online namely, walking boots and waterproof jackets which were priced very well and had plenty of images to pore over before we committed to buying. No problems with the delivery, and the items are just as good if not better than many other more expensive branded items of clothing. All in all, we are very happy with Decathlon and would use the online service again.”

“Delivery was on time although the bike I ordered wasn't very well packed and got scratched. I contacted customer service and they were brilliant and dealt with the issue immediately ....so I'm totally happy and would recommend using decathlon”

“Ordered sandals for holiday five days before hand. Received an email saying expected to be ready in store for collection in 5 days (bit excessive). Arrive on day 5 late afternoon to find they weren't there and not sure exactly when they would arrive. Cancelled the order (payment up to 7 days to get it back - bit excessive). Had to email asking why payment hadn't been recredited, which prompted Customer Service to action it within a few hours it seems. Would not rely on these guys in the future.”

“Submitted two separate 'click & collect' orders for Long sleeve UV T shirts and UV hats. Process was easy and I received e mails to advise me when the items were at my nominated store.”
