“Their advertised prices don’t tell the full story - postage, VAT and duties added 20% to the cost of a pair of Sidi cycling shoes. The returns process is a disgrace. Despite having paid the £18.00 postage and following the instructions to the letter, the shoes were returned after 5 weeks with the note ‘receipt refused’. The help function is no help whatsoever - web chat is disabled and trying other options just creates a doom loop. If you’re in the UK avoid these people like the plague”

While I was generally satisfied with the delivery, the after-sales service has been very disappointing, and the return policy is extremely misleading. Customers are led to believe in a "365-day return policy," but this only applies under narrowly defined conditions buried in fine print. This kind of marketing—with a small asterisk and vague disclaimers—is misleading and undermines customer trust.
To make matters worse, the product was incorrectly described on the website (specifically the ski bindings size), which led to me purchasing the wrong item. Despite this being a clear issue with the listing, the site imposes a 24-hour window to file complaints, which is completely unreasonable—especially for technical items that often need to be reviewed by a professional (as was my case at a ski shop).
This type of policy is not customer-friendly and borders on unfair business practice. I expected more transparency and accountability.

“I had the same experience as most other customers. After returning shoes that didn't fit, they didn't accept the return. These shoes were unworn and in perfect condition, but still the return was rejected. AVOID”
“Trainers delivered that are the same price as UK, no problems so far. Trainers were purchased in GBP and we have just received a demand for £85 for customs and import duty. There is non reference to this on website. What’s more, when I buy stuff in Spain as a UK resident I can claim the duty back not the other way round!!!”

Which has failed on several occasions. I have lost 100 pounds because I have paid for a service that doesn't work and I have a pair of shoes that don't fit. I would not recommend this company. I am still waiting to hear from a customer service person who is capable of dealing with my situation. I keep getting the same automatic email repeatedly. Will not use this company again. “Delayed delivery despite promising at certain date.
Return process (still ongoing) is a shambles and customer is expected to pay Spanish customs duty.
I returned via Royal Mail with all the necessary forms and correct postage, tracking and proof of delivery and still Deporvillage refused to accept. Instead they had the item rejected and sent back to me.
I went back to Royal Mail with the returned package to ask what went wrong and they could only see that it was rejected by the recipient (address was correct, custom's duty was correct, forms were correct, etc)
No customer support except for the typical copy and paste replies to my questions.
I will never buy from them again and I would recommend everyone to stay away from them as there are not worth the extra 5% one might save.”
“I had a terrible experience with Deporvillage. They sent me the wrong product, refused to admit their mistake, and made me pay for the return. Their website contains misleading information, and their customer service is unresponsive and unhelpful.
To make matters worse, they falsely accused me of damaging the item, using unclear photos as “proof,” and refused to refund me. Their only “solution” was for me to pick up the product in Barcelona—completely unreasonable for a customer from the Netherlands.
After reading similar reviews online, it seems like this is their business model. I feel scammed and strongly advise against ordering from them.”

I have sent emails asking for help and how I can make sure my items can be returned for as refund and they are now ignoring me. Nothing stating that because I’m from the UK I’d be responsible for import charges. If that was made clear at checkout I wouldn’t have purchased.
Refused my dhl parcel as the extortionate import charges of £143 for a £271 order.
Deporvillage confirmed they have received my order back but nearly 2 months on I still don’t have my refund. I keep getting the same automated response wait another 7-10days. I’ve reported it to Monzo and Mastercard.
Now hiding behind a dispute being raised. Which if they was honourable they can refund and close dispute. But they fail to be a honest company. Stay clear.
