“Most of the sellers who advertise cheap prices do not dispatch the item or items are delivered to wrong address at the end and then you have to wait for a refund which takes a long time. Actuallu sellers use same tracking number for many customers and customers thing the item is on its way.”

“Always look for a seller with 95 % or over POSITIVE FEEDBACK and atleast 5 years membership on DHgate and too cheap is fake seller so never buy from selling item very obvious too cheap. Always read product description and that it matches the Product name. When buying leave your shipping address in the message to seller box.”

“They never answer my messages I send to them. I had a seller send me a broken item and the seller won't reply, so I messaged customer service and customer service said they would follow it up but never have. There is also no way of messaging DHGate properly...only a lousy loser service would not want people to be able to contact them.”

“I waited patiently for them to ship my dress I ordered!! not only did they took a whole month to ship my dress the dress was nothing like they showed it to be. The colors was off the sizing was way off ! I am now trying to get a refund & give them the dress back .. they are not responding to my email. DO NOT ORDER NOTHING FROM DHGATE THEY ARE A SCAM !!”

“I ordered basketball and football jerseys twice, a total of 5 jerseys. Both times took about 6 to 7 weeks, which I expected because they come from China. I have read mostly bad reviews. In my case the jerseys were great quality. They look and feel like jerseys that cost hundreds of dollars. Customer service is nonexistent. But I will continue to order jerseys, probably nothing else though.”

“At first I Thought dhgate was great until I ordered my wedding dress from babyonline, I cancelled my order before they shipped the dress, chatted with the seller babyonline and told them my dress will not arrive on time I need a refund, they agreed. Its been 2 days I have been writing because I cancelled the order with dhgate and they are waiting on them to release my refund. this babyonline is the worst vendor someone can deal with. people be careful because it seems they want to steel my money. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM”

“Every time I made a purchase they would charge my credit card twice. I would always have to call my credit card company and get the addition charge off. My first order I was given a fake tracking so I had to get a refund for both times they charged for that order. The second order charged twice got one of the charges removed. I did receive that order on time. The third order I was charged twice and got one of the charges removed,but I'm still waiting on the order to show tracking and arrive.”

“I ordered a bridesmaid dress and was told the color I wanted was unavailable. I chose a another color. As a result, I have been billed for both dresses. I received one, which was very nice, but I still am waiting to be refunded for the second.”

“Dhgate does not care about the customer. They always side with the seller. There are a few good sellers but the bad outweighs the good!!! Buyer beware!!! Dhgate allows their seller to extort their customers. I gave proof the seller said he would replace my bad items as long as I placed another order!!! I would say in the US that is a form of extortion which is illegal!!! Again BUYER BEWARE!!!”

“Up until I received my order, my experience with DHG was positive. Customer service reps were responsive and I received AN ORDER -- not what I ordered -- in a timely fashion. I ordered a beautiful gown to wear to a formal work-related event; what I received is what they wanted me to have. The gown that I received was nothing like what I ordered. When I notified the service rep, she said the gown came from the factory, so she was not sure what I received and asked that I submit pix. I informed customer service several times that I wished to return the gown because it was not what I ordered, but she refused to provide instructions on returns. Instead, I was given the runaround. I was asked to upload photos of the gown, which I did; however, the service rep continued to tell me that she did not receive the pix. Very frustrating, to say the least! At this point, I know I am stuck with this gown, unless I decide to sell it. It's just saddening that you spend hard-earned money on a item and what you receive is not what you ordered! I am DONE with DHG! This company is in China, making holding them accountable for shoddy business nearly impossible. I've read reviews on how low DHG's prices are, but remember, you get what you pay for! You may not pay out the monetarily, but you will pay!”

“I tried to do a purchase, my card kept declining it because they were using shipping as billing address. Contacted customer service and they said for me to very my identity by submitting front and back copies of my credit card along with my passport! I ended conversation! No sale!”

“Scam scam scam. Ordered some cufflinks they took the order and took the money and then sent something completely useless and different from what was ordered despite requesting a refund , DHGate refused the refund and the seller got my money for junk . Never ever use this company. They advertise items they don’t have and never ever did . In Britain they would have been closed down long long ago . Just scamming Britains !!”

“Do not use this site. I paid £80 for a coat that turned up with a broken zip, fabric not stitched properly and the ditching was frayed. I disputed this with the seller ( who had a returns policy) and was told to finish the stitching myself and that they can’t refund as they don’t make a lot of money. I disputed this with DH Gate and they refunded £20 and told me it was pointless returning the coat as it will probably get lost in transit so they would only refund £20. The customer service is horrendous and because your not buying from legit companies they can rip you off like this and there’s not much you can do about it. I’ve also ordered things from there that have a guaranteed delivery date, this was missed by a month but the seller just ignored me when I asked them to cancel the order as I had ordered things for my holiday, over a month before I went and I didn’t receive them until after I got back. Again DH gate have been no use in helping, they just want your money and sell you absolute garbage items that you can’t return or get refunded on”

“Avoid, parcel not delivered, Royal Mail will only deal with company that sent my parcel, they will not put a claim in, so raise a dispute to get a refund of 0.1p for £40 item, they are a joke”

“I purchased a wedding dress from DHGate. They sent me the wrong dress. They said if I return it then they will reimburse me for the shipping and the dress. I sent the dress back to China! Never got my refund. So I paid for a dress I never received plus shipping the old one back. I will never buy anything from them again.”
