“I ordered a poncho and paid extra for next day delivery, it didn't arrive. A day after it was supposed to arrive I got an email saying what I had ordered was out of stock. It was then too late to give as the present I had bought it for. Although they then sorted it out by sending another colour and refunding the next day delivery I paid, but still annoying! However, the product is good now it had arrived.”

We always try our best to secure you your D&B goodies as quickly as possible, but sometimes items unexpectedly get snapped up way quicker than we can predict, sorry that this happened! “Hey guys Product is great but can you please look at offering express shipping? I know it's a busy time & Aus Post were delayed but not for express postage (I ordered & received a few parcels via Aus Post & express shipping while waiting for my towels). Also, when I contacted support to enquire where my order was, I was called Sharon, twice (lol). Thanks”

“Process for purchase and delivery were very good- but product did not look exactly as I thought it would- quite a thin product. Still - I hope granddaughter likes it for Christmas.”

Hey Susan, thanks for your purchase! So sorry to hear that the product isn't what you expected 🙁 Our towels aren't bulky like normal ones (they're better 😉), they're super quick-drying & absorbent despite how thin they are, don't worry! They're great for travelling too as they pack down super small into their pouch & don't hold odors or sand! 🤩Trust us, we're pretty sure your granddaughter will love her Christmas gift!

Hey Janet :) On first impressions, it may seem like they won't do much but trust me, they wick water out of hair quicker and more thoroughly than cotton towels which keep the hair shiny and reduce frizz (still trying to work out the secret to frizz-free!) They prevent breakage and promote moisture retention! It's pretty impressive so give them a go ;)

“A mixed review, the travel towels are soft and the pale pink is lovely and dry well. The issue I had was that other towels didn’t colour match the towel bags they came in and looked out of place. However customer service were prompt to resolve this.”

“Towel did dry brilliantly....but dirt clung to it....not back of holiday yet, so not sure how the towel cleans up. Hoping a 30 which is recommended will do the trick.....review to follow Other then that..love the softness and the colours...would buy again”

Hey Charlotte! Great to hear that you're pleased the towel-dried quickly, sounds like you've really put it to the test 😜After a few cool washes, our towels are able to be washed on a higher heat up to 60 degrees. That, coupled with a good stain lifting powder (Vanish is great), should leave your towels sparkling. ✨🌈

“I ordered two ponchos. They’re super cute, love the vibrant colours and they’re well made. Unfortunately I would not consider the material quick drying. We rode our bikes to the beach and an hour after our swim had to ride home in very wet ponchos. I had expected quick drying similar to tesalate towels, they’re not.”

“Prompt delivery. I've not used the towel yet but it feels lovely and the design is gorgeous. I've only given 3 stars as the parcel arrived in a grey plastic bag. Also disappointed that it's made in China”

“Great as a beach towel but I would say to actually dry yourself not so good, it seems quite clingy to your skin. The ponchos for the kids were fantastic though”

Hey Anthony! Our towels are slightly different from your regular towels as they are quick drying, so they may need some getting used to! So glad you kids loved the ponchos, we're pretty big fans of them too! :)

“Purchased bath and matching hair towel. Look great but washed and tumble dried in line with instructions and the towel outer binding has shrunk meaning the towel no longer lies flat. Haven’t even used it yet!”

“So, this is a difficult review to write because previous experience of Dock & Bay's travel towels and hair wraps has been excellent, but as always it's how things are handled when there's an issue. My order consisted of face wipes x 2, bathroom hand towels x 2, and 2 x travel towels - Bohemian and Grey Stripe. One of the bathroom, hand towels had a hole in it, so this resulted in me questioning the quality of the products I'd not used previously. Consequently everything was returned with the exception of the grey stripe travel towel. This was where it unravelled at pace. The returns process on D&B's site requires photos of any issues. Although these are logged on their site there isn't a mechanism to download your input and include that with your return. The page / form just loops back to the start so you think you've input the requested information incorrectly. I emailed them in the end and was told to return to the returns address with my original packing slip - all would be fine. Next, you pay for returns, so despite a faulty item, I had to pay to return it. I don't believe that's appropriate. To ensure everything did get back to D&B safely, I sent everything by Special Delivery (otherwise it's not insured!). That cost £11-ish. The item was received and signed for on the 24/07, but I never received a returns received email, so I emailed them with my tracking number advising it had been accepted by their warehouse. I was then asked for proof of postage, so I emailed a copy of this. I only received a partial refund. I emailed again. I was once again asked to provide my proof of postage, despite it being in the email trail. The response was they were looking in to it. I chased again, response was the warehouse couldn't find the two boxes of face wipes. I emailed again stating the package weight and that was when they processed a refund for the remaining items. Overall I would not say this was not a good experience. I would say this was a dreadful experience. In my experience return all companies who do not offer free returns will cover the return of an item they've dispatched tat is faulty. D&B have not offered a partial refund of my returns cost. Will I buy from them again - unlikely unless it's a product I have previous experience of, which is a shame. It will also mean I will recommend other companies who sell funky camping / travel towels as their returns process is more simple and straightforward.”
