“I have had a towel from dock and bay gifted to me- it was great to use but unfortunately the colour ran. The customer support at dock and bay was excellent and I was sent a replacement- which seems to be fine so far. I have recently bought personalised towels for friends. The first order had varied spacing between the letters of a name that looked odd and bunching of the towel around the embroidery. I was unhappy and checked if this could be changed and was told it could be. Unfortunately the second order is exactly the same as the first. I had wanted the towel to be personalised to David and it has been spaced as D A V ID on the towel instead of an equal spacing of D A V I D. I would advise best to skip the personalisation unless just initials- as it seems to be unpredictable what spacing might be used. I unfortunately don’t want to gift this so have enquired about options to refund and waiting for customer services.”

“I am enjoying my Dock and Bay poncho. It was well made, and the fabric is of better quality, however, I wish it was thicker to warm up faster after a dip in the Pacific Ocean. I also wish I wasn't asked for a tip when checking out - my first purchase, online, I didn't have anyone help me. This, on the checkout feature, is tacky.”

“Fast shipping, good choice of designs. Be aware the towels are not “normal” looped material but are smooth and flat, hence sand not sticking. They do not feel luxurious like a normal towel but do fold up super small for a gym or beach bag.”

“I was super excited to receive my new towels. I just used them for the first time for a day of swimming at the house. They do dry super fast but I didn’t feel like they dried me off very good. The towel was soaked as soon as I started to dry off with it and I didn’t feel like I was able to dry my whole body because the towel was already soaked.”

“Having been hassled to use my 10% discount which I did, I was then sent a a 25% off email. There’s a big saving there so I wanted to make use of that. Which I did. However they obviously don’t expect you to return anything.”

“This was my first order with D and B. The website offered 10% off if I signed up for their newsletter. I signed up on the site but the 10% wasn’t taken off when I checked out. I closed the website and went to my email to check order confirmation. There was an email in my inbox giving me a code to take 10% off. Too late I had already paid full price. The 10% needs to be taken off when you sign up for the Newsletter on the site.”

“Your products are very good. However, it is the quality of your products that have saved you from losing my business. In fact, I now tell my customers that I have searched for a cooling towel that is as good as yours because your customer service is so bad. Unfortunately I have not found one yet, so I put up with your company so I can bring in the best product available to my customers.”

“We ordered two of the yellow striped beach towels for our planned holiday. They arrived quickly and looked lovely. I washed them at 30 degrees as per the instructions so tgat they would be effective when used on holiday and used Fairy non-bio wash liquid. We never use fabric conditioner. I was really disappointed to find that the colour ran. The lovely white stripes are now a pale yellow/ cream. We don't have time to change them as we are making our way to Gatwick on Wed to fly out for our 25th wedding anniversary:( # disappointed 😔”

“Nice items once arrived but I was not advised that my order had been shipped or when it would be estimated to be delivered and when it did arrive it came wrapped in brown parcel paper that was ripped and soggy from the rain! This is not something you would expect when you had place over £100 order! Quite disappointing.”

“Service was fine delivery as expected.. The towel, well I wouldn’t really call a towel.. size was great but it was more like a large cloth, advertised as dries fast but takes quite a while to dry even in 30 degree heat. The bag is handy but the draw string broke straight away. Spent £30 on this for holiday and then went and bought a £7 from Asda.. wouldn’t recommend unless you want a large cloth”
