“I really love the brand and the products. However, I placed the order and no confirmation was send back. After a week waiting for the product, I contact the support people, who told me that the order was not received by the warehouse. They offered me two options: fast shippment at no extra cost or cancel the order & refund. Hope this case is just an error and this does not happen to everybody. I’d love to place more orders in the future.”

“I’ve thought long and hard about how to leave my honest review about these towels- Positives first •look great •are really compact •mostly sand resistant •wash well •dried quickly, if not being used However, as a family we found them to completely lack any absorbency, after swimming it was like lying in a puddle of water. Negatives •expensive •no absorbency •quite stiff Maybe calling them a towel is slightly misleading!”

“The towels look lovely and bright, they are really soft and the large size fits a sunbed and feels generous. However, I don't think they dry any faster than a normal towel, even on a windy washing line (they do stay soft though). And when you get out of the pool and dry yourself the towel gets really cold because the water sort of sits on top of it rather than being absorbed, so it's quite unpleasant to sit on after one use. Unfortunately I think a normal towel is much nicer, but you can't beat these for fitting into the suitcase/beach bag so they are great for space saving.”

“It's handy for travel and does dry quickly but attracts dirt like nothing else and ends up staining despite following wash instructions. Has been washed twice and already appears to be pilling.”

“We have just returned from holiday using the new towels for the first time , obviously you will get sun cream on your towels , having washed them we still have a few stains left which we are unable to get out , for the price of the towels it’s not very good.”

Thanks for the honest feedback — we totally get how frustrating those sun cream stains can be 😕 Stains can always be tough on white, but after a few cool washes, our towels can be washed on a higher heat, up to 60°C. “The towels look good. They do have a plastic feel. Think I prefer just a normal towel. One of the towels has blue stripes but the colour has run onto the white”

“The product was exactly what I was looking for. I ordered 5 as gifts for my daughter’s teachers. I paid for the expedited shipping- and I did not receive them in 3 days. I did not receive them until 7 days after my order. Which the regular shipping time. I did not receive a refund for the extra cost of expedited shipping. No one emailed me back after I emailed multiple time to see if I could get my shipping cost refunded. I will not order again based on inability to contact anyone.”

“I was pleasantly surprised by how quick shipping was, and initially felt I got good value for my dollar. Upon opening my package and examining each item, there were some edges that weren’t correctly sewn, creating a bump. The beach towels also feel like a very thin layer of a men’s swimshort, which would explain why they are sand-wicking and dry quickly. The bathroom towels I purchased were a more textured/rough material which I could see being beneficial when drying off, but do not feel soft and came to be smaller than expected even with the extra large size. Overall I am glad I tried Dock and Bay, the patterns and colors are so fun, and are compact for traveling, but for the cost and quality I won’t be repurchasing and would be reluctant to bring up the brand or recommend to friends or family.”

“Unfortunately my husband doesn't think this brand of towel has been as absorbent as others so I won't be purchasing anymore. I do like how you can bundle purchases, the variety of colours and patterns and the bag the towel comes in. Shipping was also very quick and efficient.”

“The poncho towels are a good size for changing under after open water swimming, they are thin and fold up really small to allow space in my kit bag for multiple swims in one day. The drawstring pouches also double up as wet bags to keep my wet kit and dry kit separate in my backpack. The fabric really draws the moisture away from your skin very quickly, helping you to get dried and changed quickly to enable you to warm up again. The problem with these towels is the stitching on the seams from the underarms to the bottom edge of the poncho - it is really not well done at all. This stitching has started to come apart on all three of my towels during first day of use. It really needs to be reinforced/much stronger. The towels are very expensive, and for the price I would have expected them to be of very high quality and last a really long time. I am going to have my poncho towels professionally repaired by a sewist because I was impressed with how quickly they drew the moisture away from my skin and how many I can fit in my kit bag, but I was very disappointed in the quality of the stitching, especially with how expensive the poncho towels are.”

“The towels all packed in the bags look lovely. I’ve ordered them for holiday coming up on 6th March, however think will take a while to get used to them as so thin, but I realise design is for a reason, so will hopefully be pleased with them. Disappointed I missed out on free bag offer, just after my order!”

“Loved the products, the XL beach towel was fantastic, however the set I ordered came and one of the products wasn’t the colour I ordered. Luckily I didn’t mind the one they sent but could have been a problem if I ordered them closer to Christmas and needed and exchange!”
