Hi Dean Thanks for taking the time to leave a review. It could be the price that’s the issue. Your dogs look great but are also the top joint most expensive with one other ad for French Bulldogs out of the 26 ads in the category.

Managing ads and been able to edit could be easier

Hi Anon, You can edit the price and the ad title, as well as the images. We have had to lock the description / breed & microchip information on ads, as people were selling multiple dogs from the same ad.  If you let me know what you'd like changed I can edit it for you.

Would be better if could use Revolut. Also, a bit expensive for the ad to be posted. Not able to post it on donedeal, Facebook, so it feels monopolised.

Hi Anon, Revolut being blocked is due to a higher level of fraud from these virtual cards. We work hard to keep buyers and sellers safe on the platform. There are many other websites that sell dogs including https://wellbred.ie/ , https://petbond.ie/, https://www.pedigreedogs.ie/ , https://dogdeals.ie/ https://dogsforsaleireland.ie/ https://familypets.ie/ https://petsforsale.ie/ and https://www.loveapet.ie/ some of them are free and some of them have a charge. Dogs.ie is currently the most popular website by visitor count for dogs for sale. Facebook doesn't allow animals sales for private individuals. They would be responsible for that policy.

Hi Anon , thanks for your review. Our prices are up front and can be seen before you place your ad and there shouldn't be any confusion or surprise about this.

Site was much better b4 it changed. I now find it much more difficult to use and not at all user friendly. Difficult to search for dog breeds or search by location. I cant apply the search filters at all

Hi Kevin, Sorry you are not happy with the search. What type of searches are you trying to do ? If you do breed and then county, like https://dogs.ie/sale/cocker-spaniel?county=cork you should get results that way.

Hi Keith, thanks for your review. You can edit the price and the ad title, as well as the images. We have had to lock the description / breed & microchip information on ads, as people were selling multiple different dogs from the same ad.  If you let us support@dogs.ie know what you'd like changed I can edit it for you.

Puppies still for sale . A few messages but do not think they are genuinely interested. I like to speak to people over phone or in person to get a feel for them . It’s important to me for my little puppies

If you have trouble putting up your ad someone is always available to help you step by step. Unfortunately despite advertising twice plus 3 bump ups haven't sold all 4 pups so a bit expensive

It’s good because it’s the only dog site really, it’s expensive for a 30 day add

Hi Ciaran Thanks for your review. Generally dogs sell within the 30 days, or there might be an issue with the ad, e.g. price too high, too many other dogs of that particular breed available. If you need extra time on your ad please contact support@dogs.ie and we can extend it a further week for you. It's also a good idea to mark as sold any German Shepherds that you have rehomed, to let me people know they are all not still available.

found it difficult with the procedures to advertise the dogs, but the emails and response times were very good

Hi Darren Thanks for your review, it's strange you didn't get any interest. I've updated your add to be a bit clearer. It is harder to sell a 1 year old dog, as many people are focussed on getting a puppy, especially at this time of year. It could also be that the price is too high for people. Perhaps you can add some information in your ad about his training and other information.
