“The quality of the finished product was great and was promptly delivered. However the composition procedure was somewhat arcane and did not explain very well the options. Once merged there seem little you can modify without reloading all the pages again.”

“While the text scales from A4 to A5 seamlessly the first and last pages promoted to covers don't, and have to be edited, scaled, by hand. Not a huge deal but a bit of a trip-up”

“books look great, but a marginal change in the quality of paper inside the book would be very welcome. now the price/quality ratio is a bit high and with an increase in quality you would have me hooked!”

“Doxdirect provide a competitively priced service with good customer support and polite staff. I have experienced minor/moderate problems with the service but as with all printing services it was enough to leave some extra time for these to be rectified. Aside from this their website could do with some improvements, I was unable to create an account and the previewing system is not always reliable for very large files. I would use their service again.”

Hello Joe, thanks for your feedback. We're actually redeveloping a large part of the website, including the uploader and previewer. “Excellent quality - however, there was an issue with the delivery (paid for next day delivery but it arrived 3 days after the order - after I raised an issue) - while this was addressed by the customer support person, it was disappointing that I didn't get my product within the expected time period.”

“If you're looking for a fast and easy way to have something you've written appear in bound form exactly the way it looks as you wrote it (and saved it in .pdf format), then Doxdirect is a trustworthy way to go. Their cover design application allows you to create your own vision utilizing your own submitted picture and layout; and after having used their website service twice (for two different books) I have no complaints about the quality of the company's workmanship nor of the care they take in both production and delivery to your doorstep. -- Ross L.
