Paid for next day delivery. The driver took a picture of the item in front of my gate, rang the bell and then drove away with the parcel before I could walk to the gate and open it. I was texted "sorry you weren't in but we'll try again tomorrow". But I was in ! So the next day I waited in all day and about an hour after the scheduled delivery slot I got another text "sorry you weren't in and the parcel has gone back to the depot, you'll have to arrange another delivery date". When I looked at the photo the diver had left it was about 100yds from where I live and even in the wrong post code. I contacted the seller and cancelled the order and left them to tell DPD to send it back to them. I wrote twice to DPD head office in Germany and they said they couldn't help me because the parcel number I provided wasn't a valid delivery number. I went onto DPD's web site and put in that number and it showed that the parcel was being "returned to sender". So even Head Office have no idea what they are doing. I even sent them a 'screen shot' of the web page with that tracking number being 'returned to sender' and they still replied that it wasn't a valid tracking number. I will never buy again from a seller who uses DPD as their delivery courier. I am still now, 12 days on, waiting for my refund of nearly £200 for this item that the seller will have paid for 3 abortive deliveries, 2 to me and 1 to them. What more can I say !!!!

My parcel is due to be delivered last Friday. Along with the notification, they sent a message which gave options to request for re-delivery just in case I wont be around so I did request for a re delivery for the following day, to be sent to a DPD local pick up point. I have been using that local pick up point since I started doing online purchases, literally it’s been years. To my surprise, the parcel ended up returning to the sender. I tried to contact DPD and the consignor but nothing happened. My parcel was not a failed attempt, not even tried to deliver to begin with and yet ended to the depot. It is a great example of waste time and poor service. Indeed, a very inconsiderate and inconsistent courier. BTW tried to send this as a feedback however their system didn’t approve,automatically deleted. It’s an honest service user feedback for quality improvement. Thanks!

AT HOME AND PHONED DPD WITHIN THE HOUR TO SAY IT WASN'T HERE, SAID ID GET A CALL BACK WITHIN THE HOUR, DIDN'T HAPPEN SO AFTER STRUGGLING TO FIND HOW TO CONTACT, THEIR SITE RECOMMENDS WHATSAPP AFTER A FEW STEPS WAS TOLD A AGENT WOULD BE WITH ME SHORTLY, OVER 17 HOURS LATER THE REPLY WAS THE AGENT HAD LEFT THE CHAT FOLLOWED BY "HOW DID WE DO" THEY HAVE INFORMED THE RETAILER THAT APPARENTLY A PICTURE OF NEXT DOORS CAR WITH NO PARCEL AND A MESSAGE TO SAY THEY DELIVERED TO THEIR NEXT DOOR WITH A FICTITIOUS NAME IS GOOD ENOUGH FOR DPD POLICY !! BECAUSE A VAN TRACKER AND A PICTURE SHOWS THEY WHERE ON THE STREET!! ITS A JOKE

I experienced very poor customer service and unprofessional handling. I paid for next-day delivery, but the item arrived five days later. The company didn’t take responsibility for the delay, which caused me to lose several important clients. This level of service is unacceptable. I will never use this company again and strongly advise others to avoid it as well.

My phone was supposed to be delivered last Wednesday. On both Wednesday and Thursday, I received text messages with the time slots for delivery and even the tracking information. However, no one came to knock on the door or ring the doorbell. Each time, the app said, "We missed you. Your driver won't be back today but will be back (next date) with your parcel." This happened 2 days in a row. Then on the following Monday, the parcel was delivered but in a clearly tampered box with no phone inside. Absolutely disgusting.

Although I waited all morning and saw two DPD vans passing my house I was told the driver had tried to deliver and now I would have to collect from a mile away, as a 81 year old I think a better system could operate.

Absolutely avoid - laziest drivers - DPD is synonymous with drivers falsely claiming they tried to deliver - just read their reviews on Trust pilot and here - the vast majority of 1 star reviews say variations of ' i was at home and they never came but lied' . For it to be happening that much it must be allowed to happen by the depot managers. Our company is no longer going to use DPD - we can't afford the reputational damage.

The worst company ever ! The drivers don't even care to ring the door bell! They just give a very quick knocking on the door and they disappear ! I was at the second floor of my house and I didn't even have the time to go downstairs! We cannot even go to the toilet ffs when we are waiting a parcel from them ! They disappear in seconds ! What if someone has a serious health problem and cannot move quickly? You should tell your drivers to show some respect for a change !!! Terrible service !!!

DPD emailed me three times to say a named driver would turn up with my parcel in a stated delivery period. On all three periods - over a period of two days, no van turned up ie. No human being attempted to use the door bell, or knock on the door, which was in ear shot during the period of stated arrivals. Upon reviewing the reputation of DPD on this page alone, this all comes as no surprise to me now. DPD do not have a reliable driver delivery system, that is all too clear. Too many incentives for the driver to get the delivery list done, so they can get back to base/home quickly. Have you seen their driving speeds around your town? There, that's a strong clue as to what is going on. Package is now on its way back to the repairer, I am told. The wait goes on.

Driver rang the doorbell than immediately walked off. I watched him turn around and he drove straight past me. He had no intention to deliver my parcel, just to knock and run to say he had tried. My ring doorbell showed he rang and ran.

Absolutely atrocious!!! Paid for priority delivery before noon. Got to 2pm and still no delivery. When contacted, I'm being told that they won't deliver it at all, with absolutely no explanations. Contacted the sender, they're being told the same thing.

Zero star actually Just leave £600 of product outside...ring and dash! They must think i live in the bar! Gotta give me a hot minute to get downstairs to answer in one of the few times they do actually use the bell!

I am still waiting at the THIRD attempt for dpd to delivery the correct parcel. I also have a parcel that should have gone to a customer living 50 miles away. What a JOKE dpd is and I am at a loss as to why businesses use the company.

Useless, they say they have tried and I sit near the door, with a dog, a door bell and a knocker I can guarantee they never even attempted to deliver. All apart from once have they delivered, they deliver to wrong address. I wouldn't use them but Amazon does.

Avoid like the plague !!!! Aweful service !! They also try and leave you with neighbours parcels !! PARDON MEi don’t want them !!! I DONT even know them Try asking people as well instead on just saying these are for you neighbours !! Totally unprofessional

Problemy miałem i mam z 3/4 paczkami Jedną zostawił pod drzwiami, chodź byłem w domu cały czas. ( Ważne że dostarczył ) Zamówiłem oponę z Allegro wysyłka nadana kurier odebrał i jedna opona zginęła. Dzwoniąc do biura DPD pani mówi że nie mają pojęcia gdzie jest . Sprzedawca wysłał 2 oponę i także zanikła także jeszcze czem bo sprawa jest świeża. A kolejna kurier miał zostawić w punkcie (Żabka otwarty długo zazwyczaj ) podobno o 14 był zamknięty. Także nie polecam bo to tragiczna firma .
