“I have ordered from a company who use this useless courier service. My parcel should have been delivered on Thursday 4th May 2017. I knew I would not be in so asked for it to be re-directed to my local Halfords the next day. Checked the update the next day 'no update'. Called Halfords on Saturday. They were not in receipt of my parcel. Called DPD. According to them, they had not received the parcel from the despatching company. The person I spoke to was not very helpful! Interesting that they don't have the parcel but have managed to text me a parcel number! Called Halfords today, Monday 8th May 2017. Still no parcel. No update on DPD site. Contacted despatch company, parcel was sent on Thursday. Had I known that the company that I ordered from was using DPD, I would have cancelled my order and saved myself the bother. They don't even deserve the 1 star.”

“Yet again DPD fail to deliver on a weekend despite accepting next day delivery "including weekends". Even after contacting them following a failed delivery Saturday and being given a guarantee for Sunday delivery with confirmation email, Sunday came along with another saying I had requested delivery Monday! I had not made that request! Absolute Disgrace!”

“DPD 'again' failed to deliver my 'Prime' package yesterday at my address although I was waiting for it the whole time at home. I live in a building with door codes which I gave them together with my mobile number however they did not even bother calling me and left the note outside the building door, which is titally unacceptable and unsafe. Now I have to wait the wholeday today for the package as the depot said yesterday that they cannot come back yesterday to redeliver it! Many times in the past DPD has failed to deliver packages at various address I know. It also has only a 1 star review if you would research on it on trust pilot which means they are totally rubbish and useless. The staff are very unapologetic and not being understanding at all. They just want to get rid of you on the phone when we are trying to follow it up. Totally rubbish! Do not use them!”

“THESE GUYS DON'T RESPECT THE DELIVERY SLOT THEY COMMIT TO, NEVER SHOW UP AND THEN MESSAGE YOU THAT "THERE WAS NO ONE HOME AND THEY LEFT A CARD" BUT GUESS WHAT...I AM STILL HERE AND THERE IS NO CARD ! IT'S ALL A LIE, NO ONE ACTUALLY CAME… DPD, WHY ARE YOU LYING TO CUSTOMERS LIKE THIS, TO COVER UP FOR THE FACT THAT THE DRIVER WAS OVERWHELMED, WAS LATE, AND HAD TO COME UP WITH AN EXCUSE WHY THE DELIVERY WAS NOT MADE...HE/SHE DIDN'T EVEN COME.”

“Ordered from ebay, DPD said they would deliver on the 21st April. I changed it to 28th as I knew I'd be in all day. I waited and at about 7pm received a text saying item was to be delivered between 6am and 10pm. About 11pm I received an email stating "Sorry, we were unable to deliver your parcel as there was no one present to sign for the delivery; we left calling card number 33456409". This was a complete lie. No attempt was made, no card was left. They took a photo of a random white space, which apparently is where the (imaginary) card was left. Again a complete lie. They say they'll try to deliver again but who knows.”

“We were given a designated time at which the delivery would be made. We stayed at home for the whole day and no delivery was made. I received a text message saying 'sorry but you missed your parcel', meaning that no one bothered to show up at my house or even leave a note. This behavior is unacceptable.”

“If I could give it zero stars I would! Absolutely shocking service. They have failed to deliver 3 days running now and each time I have rung I've been told it will be the next day by 12, ring today and was told it hasn't been booked in for a Saturday delivery so I now have to wait till Monday! I NEEDED this parcel by today hence why I ordered the item so far ahead! They are absolutely shocking company and if I had my choice I wouldn't use them ever again....AVOID AT ALL COSTS IF YOU ACTUALLY WANT TO RECEIVE YOUR PACKAGE!!!!!”

“Useless. Delivered my item 20miles from my home to a random person. So it took an extra week to get it to me. Every time I called they said it would be delivered tomorrow and they always had an excuse. Never again!”

“The company I have ordered from is using DPD and I have no idea why. I will obviously call them on Tuesday to say about my experience with that delivery company.. The DPD drivers are liers and lazy.. have been waiting for my parcel to be delivered yesterday.. guess what? the driver left a paper that no one was at home to sign off.. I have managed to call the DPD office,they have told me that driver will come back to deliver the parcel same day.. again guess what?he didnt. A day wasted at home sitting like an idiot and waiting DPD... Today.. received a text message that my driver will be with me today between 9.30 am and 11am woohoo euphoria!!! I went outside and put a paper on the door which was saying"please ring the door bell". I have also checked my door bell ,yeah,all working so went up to the flat to wait the delivery.. guess what? received a text message that driver wasn't able to deliver as there was no one to sign off.. Now here is my question..are u for real? please tell me the current location of your van so I take uber and chase it so I would finally get my parcel?is this all a joke? I see that your drivers maybe cannot read English or they just simply don't care... The only thing I can do is complain everywhere is possible which I will do right now,I will also call my company i have ordered from to cancel the order as I haven't: a)received on time b)ordered for such a lot of many to get that next day delivery (which didn't happen)for fun. Must say that was the worst service i have ever received,lies thrown in your face which makes my angry the most,also it is almost a miracle to get to speak to the actual human being from the CS as most of the time you are getting a automatic machine . I will make sure lot's of ppl will see it so they will be aware that the DPD company is just a ... thank you.”

“I would not recommend this company no one. It's the worst carrier ever. The lowest service quality. They don't have any respect for customers. If you need help from them, don't count on it, you will not get it, never. Unfortunately i sent 3 parcels with this carrier and i truly regret that. I lost all my things in moving home to another country. I'm trying to find 2 of them which have been sent over a month ago and you know what, people from DPD told me that they don't know where they are and they can't help me. They're juggle with my items without asking me for a peermisson. Once they are on hold, then is going back to place where i asked them not to send it. DPD just don't care, they don't listen, they don't have professional people who can settle things down. For them it's always to late and no chance to help. Let me tell you something. I was working with customers online, live, on chats in many industries but i had never treat people like that. I could write more but there's no words for that. I could say ironically "good luck" but i will say "hope you will get what you deserve".”

“This company is the epitome of unreliability. On the scheduled date of delivery I was following their driver real time online, I was the 32nd stop on his list, and after the 30th I just got a "sorry we missed you" message. Liars. I rescheduled for the following day. After the one hour delivery window passed, their message changed to something like: "your order will be delivered between 06:00 and 22:00". So I stayed home all day waiting for them. I work nights, and normaly sleep during the day, I literally lost sleep over this. But that's how important that order was. Needless to say, they didn't turn up, but now I have a message saying my parcel has arrived at my nearest depot. Unfortunately that wasn't the destination. They are supposed to be a delivery company, that's what they are paid for. Not to be a click and collect warehouse. Has this company ever heard about GPS navigation? It has been in use for a while now. Comes in handy when trying to find adresses. I don't know what will happen now. I'm guessing they will be "very sorry" about what happened. Bottom line: if you have a choice, don't ever use dpd. I thought yodel was worse, but I'm not sure now.”

“No collection, re-booking was not re-booked, refund became a charge for the full amount. Eventually I was refunded. Ironically a pdp person turned up to collect it the day after the case was closed! Never again!!!”
