AVOID - DISHONEST DELIVERY DRIVERS ... totally dishonest company. 5 minutes after seeing a notification that an attempted delivery had been made to our home and a card left, we called to say no delivery was made and we had no card, children were playing in the garden and CCTV showed nothing, the evidence given by the driver was a photo of HIS ARM!!! We were then told that he could not get to us because the roads were closed ... erm, no roads at all closed in our area at all, we had a Royal Mail registered delivery within 5 minutes of the said road closures and customers were coming and going at the same time of the road closure. Was then told that we'd get a delivery after 2pm, just called at 4:30 after waiting in all day to be told that we are getting no delivery. Totally useless service, too many blatant lies and misleading information being given to customers. Very disappointing in this day and age that a company would be so complacent and have such dishonest staff working in the front line of customer service. Certainly won't use this company or companies that deal with them in the future unless we have zero choice. Even Yodel don't fabricate stories about road closures!!!

I have an email from DPD that says no one was in and a card was left. Someone was downstairs near the front door all day. My home is on the main street and my house and all those around it have numbers. We had at least 15 successful deliveries last week. The contact us form on the website would not submit my complaint. I tried at least four times in 30 minutes. No delivery and no way to email the company. I cancelled my order as this is the only way to get Currys to pay attention to the problem of DPD

The don't even deserve 1 star. The worst delivery company! The drivers do not buzz into the apartment building at all and leave "we're sorry we've missed you" email. This happened for two days in a row and I actually had to wait for the delivery car outside for an hour. Just outrageous. Seriously? Are you expecting people to wait for an hour outside of an apartment building to get the parcel?

Ordered an electronic item from eBay, the seller paid for a two-day delivery. I live an hour away from the seller in the North West area, I was able to track where it had been collected by DPD. Three days later I had to badger DPD for a response and was told that the parcel was on it's way from Kent, four hours away from me. Another two days later it arrived damaged and unusable. I'm in the process of getting a return and refund from the seller thanks to DPD.

Paid extra for next day delivery. Claimed to have attempted. No card left. I can see the entrance - they haven't been here. Dishonest. Incompetent. Deserve to go out of business.

DPD are by the worst delivery company I have come across. Their customer 'service' team were useless. Hung up on my the first time I spoke to them. Apparently DPD could not find our address and no one advised us of this - a central London address. First excuse was our post code does not exist and was our home a new build (it's a 60+ year old building). Confirmed reason for no delivery is that the driver didn't bother turn up. They returned to the depot with our parcel 'and didn't follow standard procedure'. Wasted day.

Parcel no 15505969404464 I can't stress enough how useless DPD is. When you buy online and you see it's delivered by dpd, make sure to cancel the order and go nut what you want from the store. These cowboys have their own code of conduct, they lie, they fail to serve you day after day and they don't even care! And for gods sake Apple, why do you partner with such awful company anyway? Anyway, I had a few bad experiences with dpd in the past few years but these last days the ordeal I had to go through really drove me crazy and upset me so much. Here's the story: On thursday I buy some equipment from apple online. There is a next day delivery by dpd. I cry a bit and decide to live my life to the limit and take my chances. You never know, I mumbled to myself, this time might be better and I chose the 11-12am slot for Friday . Friday came and my missus agreed to stay in and wait for the delivery as I was at work in London. The slot time is past for good and no one shows up. I check my mail, my phone, nada. I ask her to wait just in case there's traffic or an accident but nothing comes up. I go online and change the delivery to a pickup point in Surbiton where I live for the next day(Saturday). On Saturday I wait and wait and wait but no mail, no phonecall, no sms from dpd . I decide to call them and find out by the pre recorded system that my parcels would be now delivered on Monday because they were held at the feltham depot. I have no idea why this happens, I call again to ask why and they blame apple saying on Friday we didn't receive the parcels from Apple. Now mind you, if that's true I as a user was kept in the dark and I could happily choose my delivery slot without knowing that there is nothing to be delivered yet. After 30 mins on the phone with dpd I give up so I can spend some time with my family. Monday noon comes and I still haven't got an email confirmation about the order being dropped at the pickup point. I call them again and when I ask why it's not delivered for the third time they put me on hold to contact the Depot, the Masters of the Universe. After a short interlude of crappy looping melodies the amazing representative informed me that the reason they could not deliver today was because my parcels didn't fit in the van!!! A felt a surge of anger to run through my hundred chakra points and i was ready to go ape but instead I told the man that my order was an iPhone 7, and Apple Pencil and an iPad Pro case! I also asked if they have recently switched to Hotwheels or Micro Machines for their deliveries. I demand an honest answer and insist that they are lying to me so he calls them again to diss them with some mad rhymes. He comes back all apologetic saying the woman who told him that about the space didn't know what she was doing. A good start if you ask me, that was dpd's first step to mindfulness and accepting their crappiness. Little did I know by then, I had to wait until Tuesday to get my parcels delivered as there was a glitch in the system which happens not so often. At that particular time I demanded to be put through with the supervisor of the Depot / Grayskull Skeletor but it was not possible because he must not be disturbed in case he might mess up and spoil the 5 out of 5 stars service of the Depot. I then lost any will for living and decided to quit. I called Apple, cancelled my order and will be visiting the Apple store tomorrow. Cheerio champions of incompetence! I am free at last.

The worst worst service ever. I ordered phone from 3 and they use DPD as their main delivery service. I missed my parcel for the total of 5 times. The driver didn't even buzz the door nor even contacted my tel no. By the way my door buzzer works completely fine. Every time I miss the parcel and I check the website after that, it says the parcel is back to the sender. I wasted alot of my time reordering from 3 again and again. Just today(12,05,17), I missed one again. Been waiting for it since 9am. I called 3 at 9.10 am and got the delivery slot which was from 9.16 am to 10.16am. checked the live update at 9.25 and it said approximately 15min. And after 5 min I checked again and it says it's on its way back to 3. Quickly I went outside to find the driver and he was already gone and left the card outside in the wet ground. He didn't even buzz the door nor tried to reached me through telephone. DPD please have your drivers trained properly and have them call the receivers contact no if there is no response. And if the parcel is missed, please put an option for the collection at the depot. Don't send the parcel back to its sender after one failed delivery please. I am so angry and furious at the very poor services you provide. And I am also disappointed with 3 as well.... first by choosing you, 2nd there was no option available for me to collect at the 3 store after the order. Ps my first order was 2 weeks ago on sunday and still no parcel In my hand.

Over the past 2 months, we've had perhaps 6 failed deliveries in total (different orders). We've left pictures with indications, our mobile numbers (no one actually calls you), and every single piece of information we could think of just to make sure we haven't taken a day off for nothing - but every time, it turned out it was indeed futile to stay home because no one arrived. Hopeless, dreadful service - I wouldn't want to work in their customer support department!

What a complete farce. Parcel should have been picked up Tuesday and the collection driver at DPD lied and said he had been and there was nothing to collect. This would surely have not been the case had he even bothered to turn up!! Waited in from 10am to 6.15pm and still didn't bother to come. Rang again and was told they would pick up Wednesday. Told them it would have to be Thursday as not in Wednesday so set up and agreed. Got an email Wednesday to say parcel will be collected today. Does no one listen?? Called DPD Thursday and apparently its my fault for not being in on Wednesday????. I advised that this was their error as it was booked for Thursday or should have been and now no one can collect today and collection will now be Friday. Customer service for DPD is appalling. All I keep getting told is I completely understand. Patronising set of idiots with a total inability to do a simple job of collecting a parcel and then appalling customer service

Waited in all day for delivery, then got a message saying know one was in!? They obv did not try to deliver as a card would've have put through if so... drivers can't be asked then say they tried to deliver when clearly not the case

Parcels opened - missing contents. Parcels delivered to wrong address. Parcels damaged. Parcels sent to other end of country. Rude drivers who deny working for the company whilst wearing clothing with the DPD logo on and driving van with same logo... DPD = Damaged Parcel Delivery firm.

For the third time, they "could not find the address" - never mind the fact that every other company can.

One star is too much for a service this company provides. I did not succeed to find a human to talk to about my experience with an extremely rude and aggressive driver. I will avoid at any cost to deal with this company again.
