This is the second time it has happened in 6 months. The driver doesn't understand the address/DPD have taken it down incorrectly, and can't be bothered to sort it out because he has so many deliveries to do, so he moves on to next one. By the time I got through to them, it was too late. So I stayed home the following day (another day at home waiting and off work) and the exact same thing happened. My phone call where the person on the phone took down a detailed not correcting the incorrect address and making sure that the drive calls me on my mobile if he has a problem was ignored on the second day. I literally watched the van drive past my house on the website map, but there was no way I could get the driver to collect at my correct address. They will have to come back a 3rd time, meaning I will have to stay home again. And I can't trust that they will get it right. It is such a poor and unacceptable service. I have never experienced a delivery company this bad. I am still on hold trying to speak to someone. But I did this yesterday and it still didn't fix it. When this happened 6 months ago, I waited 3 days in a row. In the end I cancelled the delivery and ordered from someone else who used a different company.

Well... As simple as : never received the parcell. Tracking doesn't say anything. Just as if the parcell would never ever had been sent. And it's note the case at all !

First of the driver never showed up whereas I was waiting for him on the road! Then I was advised that he will return back to deliver my parcel after waiting for 4 hours, customer service told me the the driver went back to the Dagenham depot! And I should be able to pick up the boxes at 6.30pm! Right now, it's 20.32 and I am still sitting here waiting for the boxes and the receiptionist is telling me we are looking for your parcel! This is what you get from dpd

They were supposed to deliver a parcel and then the first time I was waiting like a fool with all my patience for over 2 weeks. When I contacted them they admitted they lost it. Guess what happened this year? They can't find my parcel again. Completely unreliable and you don't get the luxury to have a guarantee that your items are safe in a Depot. They are not and they will lose it and keep it

Paid extra for pre 10.30am delivery so could get to work on time only to turn up at 11.50am. Complained to driver who said there's been a mix up and when I checked the tracking number of my parcel it states the parcel was delivered and signed for at 10.24am. ?

Three days with no notification of delivery. They lied to my supplier 3 times when they chased it up - usual rubbish about 'can't understand why not on van' etc. Couldn't even manage the free upgrade today (before 10.30) which they offered my supplier as an apology, apparently the driver 'called in sick'. (I have my doubts) The Depot is one mile up the road from me. I am still waiting...

I had a parcel that I had to pick up from the DPD depot in Letchworth as there weren't any days I was home for a delivery. I went into the depot picked it up no problem and went home but it turned out my order had been split into two parcels and they'd only given me one of them. I rang the depot and they said the second package was still there but I received no apology for the inconvenience of having to drive all the way back (another 45 minute journey all round). When I got to the depot for the second time, I explained the situation to the man at the front desk saying I'd already been in a couple hours ealier but they'd forgotten one of my parcels. He eventually came back with the other half of my order and yet again no apology at all. It's rude and inconsiderate. I have worked in customer service in the past and as soon as something like this happens to a customer, you immediately apologise just out of decency. Having to drive back was definitely annoying and inconvenient but not the end of the world. However, to not have this even slightly acknowledged by two seperate members of staff is unacceptable.

If I could give DPD 0 stars I would! Requested to deliver to neighbour and got a text saying they couldn't deliver... went and checked with my neighbour who haven't left the house today... hmmm! Rang up to complain as parcel is needed TOMORROW, to first be hung up on! And secondly to be told it wasn't their problem and I shouldn't have been out anyway if I had a delivery coming... guess the customer isn't always right to them! Guess my class won't have the supplies they need

Similar tale to many in this forum. Online message to inform us that the driver had failed to find the address/gain access notwithstanding the house was occupied all day with dog. I took the message to read 'too nice a day to be delivering parcels, launch generic failed delivery message and get off home instead'. So much for next day delivery and yes, e-trailers putting their business with this company should be aware that their customers may well not return.

I've had so many problems caused by this company that I've now decided to boycott any seller who uses them to deliver their products. DPD are so bad that I'd actually sooner pay more for an online item than have to suffer the inconveniences and wasted time typically caused by this abysmal courier company. I've also got a policy now of reviewing companies who use DPD as a way of sharing with the public the fact that they use DPD to deliver their goods. That way members of the public have the choice of whether to use a particular seller, or choose someone else who uses a more reliable courier company. If DPD don't care enough about customers to improve the way they operate (check all of the reputable review sites around the world to see how badly DPD are rated) then they can't expect to attract customers.

DPD were supposed to deliver yesterday but the driver claimed that we were not at home (four of us and two dogs were) at the time and that he left a calling card which he did not. Fair play to Customer Service they rearranged for today (I am going away tomorrow). Today's driver claims that he posted the item through the door of No. 6 (there is no No. 6 here) AND that it was also signed for at the same time (not even possible). I am furious with this company and its wretched drivers - if you have the choice of not using them, take it.

So a dpd driver urinated on my driveway this morning! He wasn't even delivering and parcel to me! I am so angry and disgusted by the behaviour and I will ensure I show the video footage caught on my cctv to everyone!

They pretending that they trying to deliver a parcel for two days already without even approaching the building as it stated on the address. Yesterday the courier did not even tried to ring the doorbell and instead he was standing in a middle of the street and asked people passed by showing them my name if they know me. And of course because people thought that he is mental they just told him to go away. So he marked my parcel as Refused and I had to arrange re-delivery. Today I left a big Sign on the door especially for the courier with my name and phone number and which doorbell he must ring. I also phoned to DPD and they assured me that he will call me once he will arrive today. So today he has not even approached the building. I know it for sure because I was outside and waited for him. He did not call, did not approached the building and just marked my parcel as Refused again. Today I have been calling to DPD again and they reassured me that he will be back today before 17:30 (5.30pm) and call me and redeliver the parcel. I am sure this will never happen because I know very well how unreliable they are.

Terrible experience. Inexistant work... They are a bad joke ! During one month I waited for them to come collect a parcel. An appointment was forseen everyday but no one ever called or came. Now I have to do their job and go to give them my big and heavy parcel. What a shame.

DPD couriered my package specifically to the RECEPTION DESK at my hotel in Teddington, U.K. When I arrived at the hotel May 28 2017 I was told no package had been received. After the long weekend and my return to the U.S.A. I contacted DPD who stated it was delivered on May 27 and signed for by someone called BEN. I asked and got documented “proof” and contacted the hotel again who reviewed their CCTV tapes. The package was not delivered to the RECEPTION DESK or anyone called BEN but left at the GOODS ENTRANCE with someone who had worked for the hotel for less than 2 weeks who did not write a signature. I can only assume the courier from DPD made up the name BEN and a squiqqle was supposed to represent a signature so as to pretend the delivery had been made as directed.              I made 3 international phone calls to DPD trying to get someone to speak to a Manager. Michelle and Helen both promised that a manager would contact me after each call. No one did. Another “customer service” representative at DPD said reprimands for drivers are handled internally and I would not be informed about what, if anything, was done.  I sent an email with all the above information to DPD warning that if no manager contacted me within a week I would post DPD’s lousy service and total disregard of their customers to every review site I could find to warn other potential customers of their incompetence. This seems to be the only recourse available these days. So here it is; use DPD at your own risk!
