Given delivery slot and tracking information. Watched tracker somewhat bemused as the driver went a peculiar route round my neighbourhood. When he got to item 20, I was 30, tracker proclaimed that the driver had called at my address and no one was present and left a calling card. Lie and Lie. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

I was shocked at the bad reviews as I have always found DPD to be the perfect delivery service. I always choose them, if possible, and wish all companies used them. I have always received notification of the hour slot they will be arriving and have never been let down. Their online tracking service is amazing too. I have just had a delivery and it arrived exactly as advised with minutes of the allotted time. Perhaps I am one of the lucky ones but all I can say is... a great driver and perfect service. I can't even give DPD 1 star . Service is too shocking for any words or symbols. I booked a collection through TransGlobal Express for DHL but somehow ended up with DPD for them to collect a parcel to send to South Africa. They didnt pitch , some blatant lie that nobody was home. Rebooked , didn't pitch again, rebooked to collect and was promised by Rachel in the CS that she has given my contact number to the driver and he will call to assure collection. Guess what, nobody called and nobody pitched . I am now trying to get a refund. Another story to be told. I am disgusted and absolutely appalled by their lack of service. They promise to revert back to your email within 90 minutes. Well it takes nothing short of 24 hours before you hear back from them with another load of lies. They should be struck off from the Courier industry .

AFTER ONE! I don't know how many times I've told DPD if they could deliver parcels to my shop after one but it is a constant struggle chasing deliveries. I really don't want to waist my time calling distributors and DPD chasing things up. A delivery which was meant to be with me this passed Friday for the weekends sales is still not with me almost a week later. Apparently they have attempted delivery twice, only one text message was sent, I replied to it requesting delivery after one only for the driver to then forget to deliver. No missed delivery slip was left either time. I only found out about the attempted deliveries by calling the distributor who then informed me DPD were going to deliver the next day, which they didn't. Shocking service. The customer service is terrible too. Would it really be that much of an imposition to talk to an actual human rather than a robot?

rubbish, 5 times I have called 4 times I got the phone put down on me, DPD says press 0 to get put through to your local depot, yet the people who answer the phone are at home taking our personal information (DATA PROTECTION) who's to say they are not writing it down on their notepad

waited for delivery and the tracking is excellent i knew exactlly when to expect my parcel, so i waited in for it to watch the driver walk up to my door to post a card. no knock what so ever i went out only to be shouted at by the driver. my doorbell works so no excuse i was 10 feet away from the door. DPD may have the best tracking information but this driver was terrible and the customer service team is a joke

this is the worst service I have ever encountered, I was waiting on a chimney hood to be delivered by dpd, the most obnoxious person refused point blank to let me check the item before I signed for it, his response was you can check it once it has been signed for, he then went on to say if its damaged then you can can take it up with company you bought it from, when I took the parcel from him and shut my front door, all the neighbours heard him shouting and calling me obscene names, so the upshot is that the company I bought it from has lost a big sale from me due to new kitchen appliances being purchased for using an abusive company that thinks its ok to abuse customers,

If wish it was 0 rating I would have rate them. Apparently they supposed to deliver my package on Friday,but they manage to send wrong depot means they clearly didn't delivered on fri. I called customer service she said there was mistake from them so they will deliver on sat before 2.00pm. I called to to make sure they coming and they told me it's in Birmingham.my £700 worth phone in there and they telling me nothing they can do about it . They will update your status tonight. This is ridiculous. Try to avoid using this DPD . Otherwise u will die in frustration. Believe me.

Their systems of communication don't work, asked for deliveries to be left with neighbors on 3 separate occasions, automated confirmation replies but the driver didn't get the message. Tried to contact their customer services after each time and got no reply.

Absolutely useless! Somehow how managed to ship my package to Suffolk when I live in Nottingham. No explanation as to why and no apology. If possible avoid at all costs.

Collection booked for a day,they came after 2 days with no excuses at all. Parcel delivered with all the protection broken, and the box quite damaged as well. Never again

They tell you your parcel will be with you the next day and even promise a time slot. Then say its at your local depot waiting to be delivered then ten minutes before they close change the delivery day to the next day so the the bullshit stars all over again there absolutely crap don't use them.

Friday: Asked for my parcel to be redelivered the next day to a pick-up shop (saturday) to which the system confirmed as going ahead. Saturday: The package didn't arrive so I wasted 30 minutes on their phoneline, for a gentlemen, who just lied to me about a driver not being available and then rebooked it for the Sunday at the same place (with some pretend email verification). Sunday: The package didn't arrive on Sunday so I wasted 30 minutes on their phoneline, for another employee to tell me that next day service doesn't work on Saturday or Sunday so both their online system and the previous employee were either purposefully obscuring the truth of the situation or it's just another excuse. Monday: The package didn't arrive so I wasted 30 minutes on their phoneline, for a gentlemen to not give me a single reason why yet again they have failed to deliver it, having lead me on the whole weekend. Another pointless email saying it will be delivered the next day oh and they have raised a complaint... yeah right. Dishonest. Slow. Incompetent. Don't use this company.

Literally the worse delivery experience I have ever had. Bought an expensive designer coat from a trusted website who use DPD as their courier. I selected the timeslot 14:00-15:00 and took an early finish at work to make sure I was in. I then had a text saying it had been delivered to a safe place and a photo of a shed somewhere!? I did not select for it to be left in a safe place and there are no sheds on my street! I then phoned DPD who seemed helpful enough and said Phil, the driver was last located about 20mins away from my house and has now finished for the day! And that he will try pick up parcel and return tomorrow - which was no good as I am working and not finishing early again! The next day comes and I hear nothing from DPD so decided to drive to the address I was given, only to be told that there was no parcel delivered there by the young man. Still have heard nothing back from DPD, I have now contacted the shop that I purchased the coat from to try and get a refund.. Reading these reviews it looks like this happens a lot! How is this company still running!?

ordered something for next day delivery, due to arrive Saturday. I was in throughout the entire booking slot they gave me, and recieved a text saying I wasn't in and they'd left a calling card. There was no calling card and the picture the driver has taken of its location was a blur, so I'm assuming he didn't even attempt to make the delivery. I called dpd to sort this out, and was hung up on after waiting 10mins without even getting through to an advisor. When I finally spoke to someone she assured me they would deliver it as a priority the next day and call if any issues. However, no delivery the next day and when I called again to ask what was going on I was told no space for my parcel in the van (for a small parcel that weighed barely anything!). If I hadn't have called they wouldn't have been in touch to let me know about the delay. I decided to collect myself from depot. Very disappointed. I was told to go directly to the company I'd ordered from for a refund so I'm still waiting on a that. will not be using again.

Appalling customer service. Driver failed to meet delivery slot and day. DPD contacted driver and said he was out of driving hours. They later confirmed he was not out of driving hours - it was a blatant lie. As a carer for my father, I incurred costs of £60 for someone to look after my father so I could stay home the following day to await DPD delivery. Despite requests for some help to cover the additional financial burden, they were not interested. Told me to approach the sender. The sender was in no way at fault, but DPD do not resolve problems caused by their own failings. Do not deal with this company if you have any other alternative. Contacting their CEO will not help, as she is also not interested in helping resolve financial losses caused by DPD.

i have been waiting for a parcel from DPD for 3 days ,They have sent emails to me stating that they have tried to deliver my parcel on 2 occasions when i have been at home waiting by the window for my delivery and no dpd driver insight .They posted pictures of my front door and on both occasions the photos were not of my door and were different doors on each attempt. They then promised me an express delivery the next day at 10:30 it is now 11:30 and it still has not arrived.I have been phoning DPD and they are telling me i will have to wait to 13:30 to receive my parcel . That if i am lucky enough that he doesn't go to the wrong address again, What a crap delivery service ,do they even care about their customers?

Blatant lies from DPD! Two days in a row they claim to have been unable to deliver my parcel as I wasn't in - both times I was at home waiting for the door bell to ring. They also claim they left a card - they didn't, they couldn't, as they have been nowhere near my house! Why lie to your customer DPD, what does that do for your company ratings?! I would rather you had said that you couldn't be bothered!
