DPD claim there was no one in and they couldn’t deliver my parcel. Strangely two other delivery companies managed to successfully deliver two parcels on the same day. I was at home all day and they did not ring the doorbell or knock on the door, nor did they leave a card. Dreadful service. Dreadful customer service.

Thieves! This is the second time my parcel has gone missing! The first time I returned a drone, what a surprise it never made it back! The worst service ever! Problem in my area it says is the reason my parcel hasn’t turned up for the last week. Yeah the problem is one if your lot decided they wanted my parcel for themselves!

I suspect my parcel has been stolen by a DPD employee. They checked it into my local pickup point at Coop Market Harborough and then checked it out the next day and it hasn't been seen since. The call centre is obviously based in South Africa and have no interest or mechanisms to investigate so it seems there's nothing that can be done. Absolutely abysmal. This is the Leicestershire depot by the way so do not use them. Order ref 15503368116906

DPD stated parcel was out for delivery, early morning for delivery before 10pm. After 10pm, no parcel, no message stating there was a problem. A bit later message received from Amazon stating “ DPD ran into an issue when attempting your delivery“. Next morning DPD delivered parcel, a Panasonic bread maker, rang door bell and very quickly rushed off, attempted to call him back before he got to van, Opened package that showed some packaging damage. Inside the package a quick look showed a dent in panels. Placing bread maker on level surface, woul not stand severely. Looked underneath, Brocken plastic and major damage to one foot. DPD obviously new they had damaged the package, but instead of reporting and returning to Amazon they dropped the parcel off, no warning, and quickly left the scene, leaving some one else to sort out the problem. No apologies from DPD or Amazon. Will attempt to not use either of these companies again. Photographs enclosed.

Worked from home in order to ensure I was in to receive two parcels, ordered from separate companies. Both were then delayed to the following day. After working from home for a second day I was then informed both may be delivered the next day (on a Saturday when I would be out). This is unacceptable and extremely poor service. I have no idea why companies stiil use DPD. I will no longer be ordering from suppliers who use DPD.

Had a parcel due today and received a message to say it had been delivered but nothing had arrived I contacted DPD on their premium rate number after holding for 10 + mins to be told their driver had delivered to the wrong address and they wouldn’t tell me where that was . They are supposed to retrieve the parcel later today but I’m not confident

I’ve ordered a parcel that was supposed to be delivered yesterday. I received “sorry we missed you message”, even though my flatmate was in the house, and I asked him to keep an eye on it. He claims nobody knocked; no note was left. I thought “it’s ok, I will take a day off tomorrow to collect it myself”. From the morning I was waiting for the driver, live tracking the parcel. When I got “you are next” message, I was waiting next to doors. Few minutes later, I got another text “sorry we missed you”. WOW. The driver didn’t knock or left any note. When I contacted DPD, I was told multiple times: “well he was there according to GPS, and he took picture of your door, nothing we can do”. Like seriously, you can google it, there are thousands of people like me. Drivers faking deliveries, and DPD does nothing about it. Every time I contacted them, I was told off. Horrific customer service. Avoid this company at all costs !!!!

I ordered a service from you and I must admit that no one has treated me as badly as your company. The package was supposed to be picked up from me yesterday (I paid for it), I even got a message about which time the courier would be to pick up the package. No one came, I didn't get any message that no one would pick up the package. The courier from dpd knocked on my door to ask if he could leave a package for the neighbors, then he drove past my house a few times (everything is visible on the cameras in front of the house). With all due respect, people pay you for your services. I took the day off yesterday so your courier could pick up my package. I spoke to customer service today and they hung up. You have no respect for the customer at all. how do i get my money back now?

Utterly useless unless you are happy to be controlled by an app. It's not rocket science to deliver to a secure (lockable by the turn of a button) parcel box situated outside your property gates is it? (The doggies don't like strangers.) Apparently it is not company policy to deliver other than to your front door or safe place, however unless you create an account you cannot update delivery preferences despite there being a notice on the parcel box and a personal code for them to photograph as proof of deposit Personally I prefer a more human approach where by the courier uses their brain! I have no problems with other courier firms, only these fools. I now have to drive my smokey old diesel car to town to visit the collection point....not sure how that is 'saving the planet'.

DPD drivers have no respect for other people's property. DPD drivers from the Reading depot keep driving over my front garden. I spent a whole day trying to contact someone from the Reading depot to make a complaint but to avail. I even left my number on their answering machine. When you phone the depot phone number eventually a service agent answers and they only take orders. No wonder the drivers have no respect when they are being employed by a company with absolutely no customer back up. It also falls into place why most of their vehicles are white vans and not liveried, they are very difficult to trace.

It's been more than 3 times that I missed the delivery, though I was home for each and everyone of them. No card left, no complaints procedure, everything is a big scam. Avoid this company, just use Royal Mail

If I could give them -1000000 stars I would! After purchasing an item for guaranteed next day delivery DPD failed to deliver. Trying to call them is so incredibly difficult, but we got through, and then they hung up on us!!! Got through again asking if we could pick the parcel up from the depot it was in as we needed it urgently - the answer was no! No wonder the people on the end of the phone sounded so miserable, they are working for a company who does not care about their customers AT ALL. So incredibly disappointed!

The worst delivery service. Each time I get a package delivered by them, I dread of the delivery process. I stay several days at home from work trying to receive a package and they miss me for random reasons. Stating I have incorrect info, on the day of delivery (no complaint prior). Unable to redirect it to a pickup box. The form to contact a courier is read only. The UI is horrible and you can't do many things or it's not clear why you can't do something. Obscure help with problems and finding relevant contact info, as if they're trying to make you frustrated enough not to contact them. If you can avoid this service, I would.

If I could give in - 10 I would . THIS COURIER IS THE WORST IN THE WORLD . They didn’t even bother to try and deliver my parcel as was proved via the GPS . Then they dumped it at a parcel station and then wouldn’t let me pick up as the Parcel was in a different name . EVERY TIME I have a parcel via DPD I have trouble ! Please companies stop using them . THEY ARE USELESS

I've had two consecutive bad encounters with dpd. The first one was in October 2022 when the driver didn't allow enough time for my elderly mother to answer the door to them before posting their "sorry we missed you" card and leaving. I thought it wise to change the delivery address and contacted them to do so. They informed me that I needed to change the delivery address with the vendor not them. I therefore contacted the vendor and changed the delivery address. The confirmation I received from the vendor however still had the original address. I therefore called the vendor again to confirm that the change of address had been acknowledged. They assured me that it had. However DPD sent me a message the next day telling me that the package was about to be delivered to the original and now incorrect address again. I called dpd yet again and explained how I had been trying to change the delivery address. I was told the package was still heading for the original address I at this point gave up and just waited for the delivery myself. This was inconvenient but obviously necessary. The second issue I had was the 29th of November 2022. I bought an expensive item on the understanding that it would be delivered the following day. This was important as I was actually going away the day after and wouldn't be in to receive it. I have the DPD app and was informed that the package had arrived at my local depot at 8:25 that morning. It went on to say that the van would leave fully loaded with packages from around 11 a.m. However it reached 2.00pm before I began to realise that something was wrong. I contacted DPD through the app using the chat function. It became clear that I was just talking to a bot and it was unhelpful and quite useless. I therefore called them from inside the app. I was told when I rang that I was a priority customer because I was calling from within their app. This turned out to be nonsense and I waited 20 minutes before getting through. I was eventually connected with my local depot and I explained that I was becoming concerned about my delivery, and how important it was that it should arrive today. The girl promised to look into it and call me back. She never did. She also told me that the package was still in the depot, but would be going out on a later second delivery to my postcode today. As soon as I came off the phone however I received a message saying that the package wouldn't be delivered until tomorrow. I tried to redirect the package to a pick up point but that option wasn't available. I had also volunteered to go to the depot myself to collect the package in person, but was told that this is not allowed either. This has become quite stressful as I may now have to cancel work to be in to receive the package. My whole experience with dpd has been disappointing. It doesn't exactly inspire confidence iwhen they cannot even manage to successfully change a delivery address when given 24 hours notice and cannot fulfil a promise of next day delivery when the package was received at their depot as early as 8.25am on the morning of the delivery day.

The absolute worst. First attempt at delivery they managed to try and reach the wrong address. Second they manage to forget the parcel at the depot. Customer service is almost impossible to reach and even if you do there is almost nothing they can do. Whoever is in charge of this company should do the world a favour by shutting it down and exiling themselves to Mars. I hear it's an up and coming spot for useless human parasites.

Driver showed up at my back gate took a photo and then decided to drive off with my parcel said I wasn’t home . Could not even be bothered to knock my door . This was an iPhone 14 that im now going to have to chase up . Rang to complain and they told me the driver would come back that day then rang again at 5pm for them to say no it’s not coming back . Customer service were apologetic on the phone just the driver (Ikram) I’m annoyed with has caused me a lot of stress
