AVOID!!! On 25th June I have reported my parcel missing. I’ve provided all necessary information to DPD regards my over 20kg parcel (full description of packaging, content and even photos). Since that time DPD carried over a month investigation (but still I have no answer to what has happened to my belongings). Now, over 2 months later, I still haven’t received any answers and I’m still waiting to receive money. DO NOT USE DPD!! They’ve provided me with the worst customer service!! I will never use their service again.

I sat in all day from 7 AM 4 ft away from my front door ( my pc is in my bay window) email says delivery 4-5 PM at 5.05 PM tracking says you tried to deliver and I wasn't home and that you left a card, I have no card and no one came to the house. I check tracking and it shows a photo of a commercial garage near my house. I get an email to say you will deliver tomorrow, so I call and after 25 minutes of waiting, I get a guy who is very not bothered and really doesn't care at all and just sounds fed up with dealing with this kind of thing, but he does tell me it is unlikely it will be tomorrow despite the email. No wonder you now need to warn callers not to be abusive when they are waiting in the queue. It is like a test to see if you can stay calm and not swear as you failed in every aspect of being a courier. Failed to deliver. Lied when you advised you came to the property, lied that I wasn't home, Took a picture of the wrong place. Advised redel which isn't true, kept waiting 25 minutes to speak to someone who can't help. My nan could run a better courier service on her mobility scooter, your 94% 1 star reviews on here are a clear reflection of your ability, you must be so proud. Just shut down and do everyone a favour, the stress when you know anything is in the hands of dpd is too much to take.

What a shocking bad 48 hours of incompetence. I chose the option to have my parcel delivered to my local agent for me to collect from there and duly received my notification my parcel was ready to collect. When I was arrived the agent told me the driver had signed in a consignment of 8 packets but couldn’t leave them and took them away again and would bring them back Friday 30th August. Was not too happy and decided after another 3 hours to contact DPD customer service and suggested that communication makes good customer relations, the depot were not even aware that the parcels were on the drivers van for return. I have had promises of re delivery, promises of returning calls and neither has happened. They explained the driver required more training, the agent is being suspended until. further training has been given. I had a text/email to say my parcel was ready to collect the day before and when I viewed it my parcel had been ripped open, yet another phone call and yet another promise of a taped up parcel delivery and none of it was their fault and if unhappy contact the retailer and I would be looked after under the consumer act blah blah blah. Never experienced such a couldn’t care less attitude in my life ! My parcel has now been recalled to the retailer and hooray for parcel force delivering my goods express delivery. What a shambles of a company.

For two days I have been waitng for my delivery, I took off two days from work waiting in for it as it was an important package I needed before going away on holiday. Twice the driver said they tried to deliver the parcel when in fact they didnt even try, they also said they left a card which they didnt. I called into your so called customer services and they were absolutely no help whats so ever. DPD is a complete joke I would NEVER use them ever. I had to cancel my order with Amazon and now I will need to travel to get the item I need. I am really not happy and will do everything in my power to let everyone know that your company does not care about their customers, poor service and time wasting. Thanks for nothing!

Do not use! Every parcel has an issue- Last week the parcel took 2 weeks longer due to some lost paperwork, this week out of two parcels I had coming to me one was mislabelled and ended up an hour and a half drive away - i needed it urgently so had to pick it up - the second of the two parcels that were from the same sender on the same day is completely lost!!!! Incompetent doesn't even begin to describe this company.

Verry unproffesional service. Left my box with food inside on my doorstep in 36 celcius degrees baking sun.. Many times happened that I instruct driver to leave it in a safe place and they deliver it to on my doorstep just to attract thievs or annimals.. Very dissapointed very rude customer service always covering thier asses that I select I am taking seponsibility ( they can read that but can't read instructions where to leave box) THIS IS JUST ONE BIG JOKE !

The worse experience can be, especially if you need the delivery fast. They just take a photo of the front door, which by the way is not mine as it is the door of my neighbour on the same street number and the same yard. They just don't care even to knock the second door to ask as they face 2 doors in the same house 6 meters distance between them. I chat with them (as I got a text message about a delivery that no one was in)just 10 min after the time they tried to deliver, and they said that the driver can 't come back. The main is that the shop I bought the item I was expecting to be delivered, obviously paid them extra charge for a Sunday delivery as they respected that tonight I am travelling abroad for my holiday.

Worst experience ever with a company who gives you the complete run around, lies and ignores you! My shipment from overseas got lost, had to pay more in the UK for delivery of one box, and worst of all 16 of my precious item were not just broken but smashed! The overseas companies ‘professional packing’ left no much to be desired and no fragile stickers on the boxes. I have been chasing both companies for damaged (it is insured, have it in writing) but DPD who deals with the claims are not paying up. This is even after I have been asked for receipts for the claim, meaning I had to purchase items in order to get paid the insurance, I was then told they are liable and would pay the full amount until I pointed out the full amount included box 6 which was of s much larger amount. Then suddenly they didn’t want to deal with me anymore and the claim form they said they’d send is not forthcoming! I’ve been chasing this for four months as the amount involved is not something I can afford to lose! Dreadful company who should simply not be trading. Truly stressful and upsetting experience from start to finish....and still going on!!!

Shame you can't rate 0. If you want to be ignored by the complaints team and left without help then use this company. If you want your parcel delivered to the wrong street by Craig from Snetterton, who then tells his boss he delivered the parcel... This company is for you. Craig kindly fraudulently signed our signature, a signature dispute raised but no call from complaints dept, this is definitely the company for you. Head office tracked my parcel to an address and sent me there to beg the homeowners for my parcel promising to call straight after to check I was OK. Still no call from cplants team. When chased I am told they will go back to the sender with an answer.. Which is unacceptable as it is OUR NAME that was fraudulently signed. My address my parcel my privacy. Surely GDPR should cover this guys. Utterly ridiculous. Oh and as you call in there is a warning message saying you may wish to complain please be polite.. An indication that something is severely wrong sinead.. Right. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY THEY DO NOT CARE!

Initially, they have lost the package, then after for a while package has been found and shipped final destination. Also, three items were stolen from the box during transportation. We open case and wait more than two months to get result , they have not find three missing items at all .'They just paid us basic insurance after many emails and we have lost €800.This is the fisrt time i work with DPD and never going to work again , one mistake using DPD cost me €800 and they never chase this issue i was the one million times call them and open case even if it was not my fault at all .

From the moment you get on the website to arrange parcel delivery, you are being ripped off. Its slogan: 'The Delivery Experts' an outright lie - especially if sending abroad - as I did. On his promotional spiel, the CE, Dwain McDonald (dwain@dpd.co.uk) claims that the company won GovUK sponsored 'The Queen's Award for Enterprise' in 2017 - it did not (though Carillion did!). He also claims that the company profits exceed £1billion. I'm not surprised! Total ripoff, Review on other websites are 1 star and reviews about working for the company are equally unhealthy. AVOID! As for 'customer service', once they know you have a complaint, they blank you on phone and website, so you can't contact. My story of trusting DPD to do the job advertised has ended in tears, both mine and my grandson's!

This is the second time DPD have done this to me. The tracking information says attempted delivery but no one was in to sign for the parcel even though I've been in all day and received another parcel from a different courier. Once they delivered a parcel that looked like in had been in ww3 and the box was sodden wet (electical item) DPD service is so bad that I've started to look to make sure there not used when shopping online. In this case the courier details wasn't provided. Never known a service this bad, 5 items brought online at same time, including from ebay and DPD are the last to deliver yet again. I have a feeling the delivery drivers just can't be bothered and say they have attempted delivery. Avoid DPD whenever possible would be my advice. Hate requiring to give them 1 star.

Absolutel liars!! I waited in all day and at 4.06pm they say that the driver attempted to make a delivery but nobody was there to sign for it... Lies! The driver has also got the ability to avoid CCTV because he certainly never came anywhere near our property. The item was needed for this weekend and now it says on their site that they will try again on Monday. Absolutel rubbish. I live in a small hamlet. The driver was probably running late and wanted to be home on a Friday night... A poor service!!!

Assumed authorisation to leave an expensive computer with neighbor. Neighbor denies receipt of goods item now lost and more importantly I'm now behind shcedule with my business due to loss of important computer. Customer service was a waste of a whole afternoon. They said they had authority to deliver to any neighbor because I hadn't opted out of the deliver to neighbour service. The sender specifically instructed dpd to only deliver to myself at my address. Opt out system is hidden away in the app and as a reciever of parcels I had no reason to check the app prior to encountering a problem. Dpd have refused to accept any responsibility for loosing my parcel as they claim they were autherised to deliver to any neighbor.

If I could I would give it 0 stars. Absolutely ridiculous company. I was meant to get my parcel Tuesday, however the driver didn’t bother to stop and made out no one was home to sign, I had been indoors all day. I then email them and they said there was nothing they could do it’ll be delivered Wednesday. I then get a text saying as requested we’ve changed your delivery date the the 16th (Thursday) i didn’t not change this, so I emailed again and they admitted it was a colleague who done that in error. I have now waited in Thursday, stood at my window whilst tracking the driver which said he on delivery 109 and mine was 110 so he would be here any minute. Nope I get a text saying no one was home you will have to collect at a near by shop. The driver didn’t bother to stop once again. I paid a delivery charge for a reason. Absolutely fuming! Very poor customer service.

Absolutely disgusting service Absolutely disgusting service. We were in all day and the driver said he rang the bell, he lied on three occasions! Tues he was supposed to pick up a parcel, said he rang and nobody was here, we were here! Wednesday said he rang, we were here! Thursday he said he rang this time I heard the van and so waited by the font door, heard bleep bleep bleep as he entered info into his little scanner, he didn’t knock and he didn’t ring the bell. I then heard him getting into his van and I chased after him. I asked why he didn’t knock or ring the bell he said he did, remember I was behind the front door. I told him he was a liar and that he lied the past three days. He muttered something, probably best I didn’t make hear, at the time I was demonstrating that the doorbell works! He then said that he couldn’t take it, because if no labels, the box was in the hallway which he couldn’t see correctly and for all he knew labels were on other side. He told me to have a good day in a very sarcastic tone at which I told him to get stuffed! This was on the Thursday 15/08/2019. The parcel was to be picked up from Eastway, Nailsea, his name is Michael. The man’s a liar and and A fool!
