There should be the option to leave minus stars. We have experienced several episodes of expensive parcels thrown over the back fence. We asked one driver about why he did this and he said that "....the Sat Nav took me round the back and you can't expect me to walk round the front!". We have also had expensive electrical goods left out in the open without a note being put through the door. One parcel was in a neighbours front garden for several days before it was found.

Failed to deliver a high value item for which I paid extra for rapid delivery despite turning up to the address. It seems they failed to ring the bell for the flat! Simply incredible

Driver claims to have tried delivering 4 times, no cards left, no door knock, no texts, no trace app. Bringing parcel back to me. Appalling, never use them

Horrible work, as always!! DPD drivers in this area have a very annoying tendency to lie and say no-one was in to sign for the parcel when I was literally waiting for my parcel inside. They just take a photo of the door from the van and drive off. This would happen on a majority of occasions DPD had something to deliver to me. The times when DPD delivered on the first attempt is a rare occasion. DPD, you need to train your drivers better and fire the lazy, dishonest ones that lie to customers!

My husband ordered something from EBay. He was given 10th December delivery. The DPD driver rang the doorbell at 7:10 on Saturday 5th Dec. ( we have a ring doorbell, and saw him on the camera). There was no note through the door. My husband hadn’t had a notification saying they were delivering early, so wasn’t expecting anything. We both work full time, so weekends are reserved for a bit of a lie in. Sunday 6:50.. a slow drive by DPD. No ringing of the bell though. My husband requested a delivery day. Friday 11th December. (Today) He’d been working nights, and again not sure of the delivery time, he hasn’t been to sleep today in case he missed the driver. They REALLY need to up their game. I don’t trust them and I would never recommend them.

A delivery was left on my step today...not mine.It was fresh flowers M and S. I spoke to someone..they said driver not answering phone..I took it further..another lady said she messaged him and he will come back and deliver to correct address...that was around 1.30pm..its now 17.30...and he hasn't turned up. Again I chat to someone..they tell me to contact M and S..hello..its NOT MY PARCEL...it will remain on my step...apparently they deliver up to 19.30pm..we shall see.I am Ill or I would take it mmyself. Terrible service! Absolutely finished with them now...don't blame me if it disappears...just like the driver ...

The driver called Asim lied that he tried to deliver my parcel when he clearly did not. He took a picture from the across the road with my flat gates wide open to give him access to ring the intercom to let me know that parcel is here. He did not. I made sure that I stayed at home to wait for this parcel and on-top of that paid £10 so it could be delivered on the day I wanted. ASIM CLEARLY LIED AND IS TRYING TO FINISH THE JOB EARLIER BY STATING THAT CUSTOMERS ARE NOT IN. I HAVE SEEN SO MANY REVIEWS OF THAT SAME THING! DPD IS THE WORST DELIVERY SERVICE! DO NOT TRUST THEIR SERVICES OR DRIVERS AS THEY LIE AND DO NOT HAVE A LIVE PERSON CUSTOMER SERVICE LINE!

BEWARE if DPD's driver does not scan in your parcel collected from a DPD Collection Point BEWARE There is a hole in DPD's local parcel collection service that allows parcels to go "missing". When the driver collects the parcels from a DPD Collection Point like Matalan, the driver can accidentally forget to scan in your parcel and boom, its "lost" forever. I dropped my Christmas Presents parcel off at Matalan, Stockton-on-Tees on Sat 6th December 2020. Got a receipt and left the parcel. Did not have any idea DPD would not be picking up until following Tuesday!! But did see on DPD's tracking system that it was booked in at the Matalan Collection Point. I checked in every day to see if it had gone, but each day it was again checked in as still there at the Collection Point (Sunday, Monday and Tuesday). On Wednesday I checked again and found there was no update but thought, "it must have been collected and the system has not registered it yet". How wrong I was! Having just now been to Matalan they tell me it must have been collected as it is not in the DPD room and they would have registered it as "awaiting collection" as they had done on previous days. As it happened, the DPD van was just collecting parcels from Matalan whilst we were there, so the manager and the DPD drivers did a double check of the room - "no, it has gone was the reply". So telephoned DPD, to be told if you have problems you have to use their Live Chat which only shows itself when you 'pretend' to set up a new parcel delivery order - really??!! So it turns out DPD know who the driver was for that day but cannot tell which hub or depot the parcel went to because - the parcel was not scanned in. Matalan must know how many parcels in total are collected (taken) from their keeping but surely someone should be checking that if 29 parcels are taken from Matalan by the DPD driver then 29 parcels should be scanned into that van for that collection point? Guess not..... So the DPD driver can collect all the parcels but no one checks that the parcels collected are actually scanned in, and if they are not well where do those "missing as not scanned in" parcels go to? The Live Chat told me they would investigate at the depot to try and find it, so I asked which depot, they replied they could not tell me as it had not been scanned in. So when I said well how do you intend to set up an investigation when you don't know the depot? They then said they could not tell me the depot name because of Data Protection. I said all I wanted to know was they knew which depot the parcel should have gone to because they knew the driver who had collected that day, the round code he would have had and which depot he could be expected to drop it off at. Got same reply about Data Protection. So I guess I am asking questions that cannot be answered as I try to understand how a parcel goes missing when collected by a DPD driver from a secure location such as the one from Matalan. I just want that parcel found and delivered to my sister but have been left feeling it is not going to happen.

They are consistently bad - customer services is bad, communication is bad, they notify a delivery slot and return items to base for another day, they notify a delivery time slot and don't turn up or are persistently late. Quite often packages are damaged through rough handling or have been opened. My heart sinks every time a suplier say that items will be delivered by DPD. Awful company.

I cancelled work just to wait for my parcel. Driver never showed up and still updated their system that I wasn’t around. I contacted them to confirm what was going on and was told driver went to the wrong address and that they can’t try again the same day. Total waste of my time and money. I will be cancelling my order because of this poor delivery service.

Could give minus stars if poss. I have never been so disgusted at how any company could be so blatantly bad at what they profess to do and are still in business. I paid for a next day service + insurance which was delivered 5 days later. Customer services, don't make me laugh! 1 and a half hours on the chat line to a lady called Anis and then Adelle. Complete waste of time. Don't go near them

My delivery was scheduled between 11.47 - 12.47, hadn't arrived by 13.00 so I logged on to track and it said delivery re-arranged at my request?? Rang DPD who said the driver couldn't find my house?? I live on a road with at least 70 houses and I must see DPD on this road at least three times a week, how couldn't he find it???. I asked to speak to a manager and after being put on hold for ages I was told a manager would call me back within 24-48 hours, absolutely appalling customer service.

Complete rubbish. My parcel was picked up in Spain last Monday 30 November. The system forced an incorrect postcode. We have contacted them five or six times and we get a different story every time. One minute the address is wring, then they have tried to deliver it but no one is in, then it has not left Spain yet. Completely useless.

Dropped off parcel for collection at the suggested Argos pickup point. Was given a DPD receipt with a printed tracking number. No update emails have been received by either myself or the receiver. I paid for next day delivery. That was a week ago. When entering the DPD tracking number into their website, it doesn't recognise it, even though it is on a printed DPD receipt. The money was debited from my bank account. The parcel has gone, as well as my payment. What a shambolic company. Do not use.

DPD is the most useless courier service in the world. I am home and just got a message they tried to deliver to me but I wasn't home. No one came here. Last week they couldn't find my address. What kind of a useless company is this..
