“To be honest I usually do my shopping from the Amazon site as I thought you had to bid for most of the items on Ebay, compared to Amazon where you can usually buy instantly. My dad recently sent me the link to some products he had seen on Ebay that he wanted for Christmas. It was this that made me realise Ebay also has a lot of items that can be purchased instantly. I purchased the items my dad wanted and the order was processed, dispatched and delivered extremely quickly. Some items also had free delivery, like the amazon site. I will definitely start looking at both sites for any products I need or want.”

“I collect antique Art Deco jewellery and have been shopping for it on eBay for over 20 years, because eBay has such a massive variety of unique items and powerful customisable search tools to find exactly what I want. Virtually everything I've bought has been of excellent vintage quality and well packed by friendly dealers. eBay's policies around buyer protection in the event of problems have improved recently so this only increases my confidence in shopping on this site. Some people are scared to shop online for fear of credit card fraud but eBay links to the secure site Paypal, with which you can register your credit card and spend on it without disclosing its details to sellers. I've never had my card hacked or been ripped off when buying the jewellery, so if you like vintage things you should definitely explore eBay.”
