I ordered a watch strap from eBay and never received the item. I contacted their shipper multiple tim s but they never delivered my item to my home address. Their carrier also lied to me saying they’ll would deliver my item but they never did. Buyer beware with eBay!

Ebay chose to use the courier Evri who lost my £750 phone, Ebay doesn't care. Evri 'delivered' my £750 phone but the POD was of a different address, they apologised explaining it won't happen again and to contact Ebay, but Ebay rejected my claim because there was a 'POD'. Ebay chose to use Evri, not the seller. The seller messaged me apologising that this happened. What a dreadful company - I wasn't surprised to see 1.2/5 rating on Trust Pilot. What do I do now? JOB OPPORTUNITY: Maybe I should become a subcontractor driver for Evri, then I can take a van full of parcels, upload fake photo's and steal the lot, and there's NOTHING they care to do about it.

They restricted my account. Only because I made a offer eBay didn't like. I was not low balling the seller. I owned the item similar to what the seller was auctioning. Stupid.

If you think of selling something, better stay away.I've been charged for cancelling an order that the buyer asked me to.. Totally unfair and they don't even bother anymore to answer to your complaint.

This place has become a haven for scammers and liars selling dodgy, stolen and faulty goods. Not every seller of course but most, it seems. Are you economic with the truth? Then eBay is the place to be. Do you think most buyers are stupid? Then you will be at home on eBay. Sadly any other platforms are not much better. Amazon not too bad but expensive and at times lacking in proper item information.

I’ve used eBay for 12 years. This recent experience has completely destroyed any trust I had left in the platform. I raised an Item Not Received case on 22 November for an item that shows as “delivered,” even though nothing arrived. The seller ignored me, kept giving the same robotic reply, and refused to investigate. So I contacted Royal Mail myself — they told me to speak to eBay. What followed was days of contradictory information, empty promises, and excuses from multiple agents: Jyoti, Hetang, Harshita, Suraj, Manash I was told different dates every time — “wait until the 25th,” then “tomorrow,” then suddenly “the 27th.” One agent even told me “weekends don’t count,” which is absurd. My final interaction was with a manager named Suraj. Even he repeated the same scripted lines, claimed eBay can’t validate delivery (while using that same tracking to deny my case), and offered zero help. His only advice was to “ask the seller,” even though the seller had already refused to assist. eBay promotes a “Money Back Guarantee,” but when you actually need it, they hide behind tracking and leave loyal customers with no support. This experience has been draining, stressful, and incredibly disappointing. After 12 years, I expected better than being dismissed and sent in circles.

I sold something on eBay for $65. They say they charge 13.6% After the sale, they sent me $34.95 thanks to them charging 13.6% for shipping and taxes too. That's 53.76% in fees. I joined eBay in 1998, used to sell a lot with them. I will NEVER sell on eBay again. I used to love eBay, but that love is now dead. Marvinboots 2463 reviews

Registered with Ebay , made a few hundred sales (with %100 positive feedback) Recieved an email to say my account is permanently suspended, called them up and they said that there's no reason given, but in 180 days I will recieve the money from the sales. I sold a lot of videogames and cd's (£2400 worth) Ebay has forced me to wait nearly 6 months after sending them off, to recieve the payment . This has financially crippled me, I've had to pawn my belongings to be able to cover my rent and buy food. Avoid at all costs!!

I’ve finally decided to delete my account with embezzlement-Bay. It’s completely dead, an utter waste of time, full of cheap tack and they’ve just charged me £23 for a listing which they said was free. When you start getting desperate, which they clearly are, you have to resort to ripping people off in order to make money. Utter disgrace and I can’t Waite to watch them go under.

I recently bought three items (sewing patterns) from a seller. The shipping costs for each item were added together and I was charged nearly $60 to ship three sewing patterns. This is egregious and outrageous. I asked the seller if he could give a partial credit because the shipping should have been significantly less. He tried and said he couldn't because the items were shipped through eBay's International Shipping system and the charges were set. I contacted customer service to see if they could help, and the agent kept me on the phone for an hour talking alot but saying nothing of substance, and I finally put it to him and asked if he had a solution and he didn't. Nice! After wasting an hour of my time. He said he would send a message to his colleagues to see if they could help, and someone should come back to me in a day or two. That was about a week ago and nobody has contacted me. In addition, since the beginning of this year, eBay began adding VAT on all purchases at checkout. I have no issues with this, but it appears that the customs authorities in my country are not being informed because I have received additional invoices from customs charging me VAT and fees on nearly every purchase I've made with eBay this year. I have taken the matter up with eBay and they have refunded me for the double payments, but I've told them they need to coordinate with Customs and get their act together so we aren't forced to pay VAT twice for the same purchase and then have to waste time requesting reimbursements for the overpayments. I've been an eBay member for 26 years and I think I've reached the end. UPDATE: I finally got a response from eBay's customer service today. I had exchanges with three different people who all basically repeated the same thing: they listed a few possible reasons why my three items weren't combined into one shipment (I got one packet with two items and a second one with the third item) despite my putting them in the cart and checking out at the same time. NONE of those reasons were applicable to this purchase. Listing irrelevant possibilities without specifics is meaningless because such vagaries allow eBay to justify its actions without any accountability. And they repeated that they don't give refunds for shipping. The International shipping center can set whatever extortionate prices they wish to ship items without rhyme or reason. Is it any wonder sellers and buyers are leaving eBay in droves?

Horrible, I sold some items paid thier fees and was permanently banned and my account was closed for requesting my payment from my phone which was not registered to my ebay account. They said I needed to pay additional fees not listed on my sales, so I follow the link to pay thier ransom, guess what I have an owed balance of zero. eBay can take a long walk of a short pier!!!!
