If you have used Guest Checkout, there is no way to contact seller when there is a problem. The page refreshes and INSISTS that you start an account, just to respond to the seller or attempt to get help!! If I wanted an account, I would have started one! Ebay should not have a "guest check" out option if the customer needs an account in order to get service!! You are completely at the mercy of the whims of the seller. They keep your money and decide whether or not you will ever get your item. If you go through "automated assistance," it is no assistance at all, no contact with a live person. I now have to wait until the 19th of March for my item (which I paid for on Feb 25th!!) It is hung up in transit, most likely lost or never even sent, and I cannot contact the seller (or Ebay!) to request a refund! Please do not use Ebay, you will be sorry!

Suspended my two different account permenantly without any explanation within about a day of use. Even during that time, many functions did not even work, or were restricted (such has contacting the seller, or making an offer, which did not work or was, for some reason, restricted). Their customer service directs you to articles about the subject, which does not actually help. I do not even know how eBay still exists as a platform.

Absolutely disgusting Absolutely disgusting. Sold on ebay through global shipping which was fine but then now the buyer has committed fraud and says something was not new when in fact it was. They accepted his return and now I have to find £250 for postage from his country to here to return it otherwise they refund him the £2000. I am a single parent with a child with autism and they offer no help on returns. It's disgusting and shamefully how they don't provide help

eBay are a commercial platform joke ... and the worst joke at that. Been with them 19 years and seen the progressive decline into capital greed of the ugliest kind. What a rotten company. What started out as a pretty great idea - has now degenerated into a rotting mess of an insatiable desire to profit, profit, profit - at the expense of the poor little souls at the bottom of the ladder. Your corporation deserves nothing more than to disintegrate into the cyber bin.

Item never shipped, so I tried to contact eBay. Instead of helping fix the problem, they suspended my account! And you can’t even talk to a real person.

My recent encounter with eBay has left me deeply disappointed and disheartened. As a budding entrepreneur eager to showcase my African fashion brand to a global audience, I decided to open a selling account on eBay. However, my excitement quickly turned to frustration when, mere days after linking my bank account, I received an email notifying me of a restriction placed on my new account. Seeking clarification, I attempted to reach out to eBay customer service, only to discover the daunting reality that direct communication with them is nearly impossible. After much persistence, I finally secured a call with an agent, but to my dismay, the conversation only added to my confusion and frustration. Despite my earnest explanation of my intentions to sell genuine African outfits and contribute positively to the eBay community, I was informed that my account had been permanently locked due to supposed risks it posed. This arbitrary decision to permanently restrict my account without providing clear justification not only defies logic but also raises troubling concerns about selective discrimination. It is profoundly disheartening to be met with such insurmountable obstacles in pursuit of legitimate business endeavors, particularly when there is no basis for such actions. As a result of this unjust treatment, I am left questioning eBay's commitment to fostering a fair and inclusive marketplace. Discrimination, in any form, has no place in today's society, let alone in the realm of e-commerce platforms. My experience serves as a stark reminder of the challenges faced by minority entrepreneurs striving to carve out their place in the business world. In light of these events, I urge eBay to reevaluate its policies and practices to ensure that all users are treated equitably and afforded the opportunity to thrive without fear of unjust discrimination. Until then, I am left with a sense of disillusionment and disappointment, wondering if eBay truly values diversity and inclusivity as it claims.

EBAY is Dead ! They shot themselves in the foot by limiting sellers to a limits of $200 per month. I'm closing my account today and I will never buy anything from EBAY ever again.

Now this is just madness. Ebay not only charges you fee on delivery fee but also witholds your funds until you send it - including delivery fee. They claim this is to have a "seamless" transaction but how am I supposed to send the item if I didn't get paid for it? Madness. When I asked customer support about this, they told me to lie and mark it as dispatched to get the funds released. How is this legal??? EDIT: it has now been 4 days since I was supposed to get paid, 5 different people I spoke to, each of them telling a different story, each of them claiming I will get my money within 2 hours - nope, still not happened. Avoid this platform at all cost!

I sold one item this year. They stole $130 of my earrings for a “FREE” posting. Now they are holding the rest of my earrings in their own bank accounts for 3 months. So I don’t receive any money for 3 months how dare they. It’s not their money hell it was supposed to be listed for free. But noooo they decided thanks very much I’ll take that. They have wayyy too much power. That’s not right at all

The nations #1 online source for buying and selling counterfeit automotive parts listed and sold as genuine. No other online company even comes close to eBay in this department. They invite fraud with open arms.

Do not even bother placing an order as a guest on ebay! In the event that you have a problem with an order, you cannot go to "contact seller" without the page refreshing and loading another page which insists that you start an ebay account! I had a bait and switch product sent to me, one which was NOT what I ordered but completely different. The ebay "help" page is just a bot and you can never get a hold of a live human being.

Seller has scammed me as goods not arrived. After 26 emails back and forth to seller "Yinlen-us" they promised refund, which I have not received. Now being ignored by both seller and Ebay. I did issue a complaint but Ebay closed it before any resolution. Then the run around from Ebay, no response from them and unable to discuss it. Their money back guarantee is utter BS. A disgraceful effort Ebay. I will never use your service again

I am compelled to share my disappointment regarding the recent handling of my seller account on eBay. Without any warning or explanation, my account was suddenly restricted, leaving me bewildered and frustrated. One of the most disheartening aspects of this ordeal is the lack of communication from eBay. As a seller, I believe transparency is crucial, and the abrupt restriction without providing any reasons or specific details is both unprofessional and unsettling. It is disconcerting to have my livelihood affected without understanding the cause behind such a drastic measure. Attempts to seek clarification through customer support have proven to be an exercise in frustration. The response time has been slow, and the assistance provided has been generic at best. I expected a platform as reputable as eBay to have a more efficient and communicative support system, especially when it comes to account-related issues. Navigating the resolution process has been like navigating a maze without a map. The lack of clear guidelines or avenues for resolving account restrictions has only added to the overall dissatisfaction. It seems eBay could benefit from improving the transparency and user-friendliness of its account management procedures. This experience has left me questioning the reliability and fairness of eBay's seller policies. As someone who has been a dedicated seller on the platform, I find it disheartening to be treated in such a manner without a proper explanation. I sincerely hope eBay takes steps to enhance its communication and resolution processes to avoid subjecting other sellers to similar frustrations. In summary, the sudden restriction of my seller account without any explanation has been a deeply unsatisfactory experience. I hope eBay reevaluates its approach to account management to provide sellers with the transparency and support they deserve.

I sold a phone on eBay it was my first time and I got scammed, I sent the phone working with no problems and now the buyer says the phone has problems and I have no money from my sale! This is not acceptable, I paid twice for delivery, I was a good seller, I answered everything the buyer asked me and now he wants to return it when the phone never had any problems! I want my money now!

Ebays general customer service is not good. It is a bit better for buyers than sellers though. Recently as a buyer I had them pull money out using an account they were not supposed to with the new best offer program, requiring a payment source before the offer. They opted to use a bank account I never use, that is empty, rather than the payment source I authorized. This is because it is cheaper on fees for them. After numerous overdrafts because of this, I talked to 2 different agents that supposedly made a support ticket, and "would make sure it was fixed". Still pulling out of the account I never authorized racking up fees. Calling Ebay again, they refused to connect me with a supervisor to address the issue, and then hung up the phone. Not once, but three times. This level of narcissism is only something I've encountered post Covid. Everyone seems to think they are the most valuable asset in a company, and it empowers the garbage workers to pull this nonsense all the time. Seems worse at ebay, but its seems to be a problem everywhere from my observation. Now I am having to fight this out with the bank on the fees. They argue It was something I bought. True. But I never authorized the withdrawal from that empty account, therefore irrelevant I'm sure others have had similar issues. THIS is how class action lawsuits get started. They use the fact that they are the biggest auction site on the web to negate the negative repercussions of their actions. Most people will deal with a company even if they feel screwed if they think there is still some benefits. I think they should be boycotted out of business, and let a better company take their place.
