The required way to enter the card expiry date needs to be more clearly presented. It is customary to include an oblique between the month and the date (e.g. 11/11) but this method results in an error message being displayed. A clearer presentation of how the date should be entered would be helpful. The opt-out display from publicity and further email materials is very ambiguously presented. It is not clear whether one is opting in by ticking the box, or opting out. Had I not been buying a present, and had the recipient not specified this particular item from this site, I would not have proceeded with my purchase. Finally, the log-out button was hard to find, as was the 'make change to basket' button. Words, as well as icons, would have been helpful to me.

I hope the product I have ordered is better than your website. I object to having to put my age onto your system and so made up a fictitious date of birth. This is intrusive when I just want to make a purchase. You should make the information voluntary and not require people to set up a password just for a one off purchase.

It is annoying having to create an 'account' just to buy a single item. Why do I need to give date of birth etc, when all I want to do is go to a check out and pay for the thing. To tedious.

Average company. Problems in trying to return faulty orders, as doesn't seem to comply with the sales of goods act. Only use as a last resort. Unsure about their WEE Policy, if they have one, which is a UK requirement

So my time with eBuyer has come to an end. After disgraceful service today, being made out to be a liar, being lied to. Half of this issue is with parcel force, however, the rest of the issue is with how I was treated following the issue with parcelforce by eBuyer customer service. I paid for upgraded 'pre-noon' delivery as I had to leave the house as early as possible, and it's the only day I was available to accept a delivery. So 11:45am comes, and I'm getting a bit nervous, so I check the tracking information and it says it's on the way. Fair enough, still time. 12:10 comes and still nothing, so I refresh the tracking information and parcelforce are now saying they attempted delivery at 11:41am. No knock, no card, no van, no parcel (CCTV is great thing). This isn't the first time this has happened to me, and they've put 'attempted delivery' so they don't get in trouble for being later than the time slot I paid for. So I ring eBuyer to discuss, and basically, they called me a lair, they wouldn't believe me when I said the delivery driver hadn't made a visit. After 20 minutes on the phone discussing this, guess who turns up at 12:30.. oh yes the parcel man. When probed, he admitted he hadn't attempted delivery earlier on. So basically, I was made to feel like a liar, I was lied to, and wasted a whole morning waiting in for a parcel that didn't arrive. To add to that, it was now gone 12:30 and I no longer needed the parcel, which I needed by 12am so I could leave the house immediately. Rubbish service, rubbish delivery service and rubbish attitude by customer services. Bye ebuyer.

Idiots!! I desperately needed to get some equipment to a site on a next day delivery. Logged in to find my company credit account had been removed. When I asked why, they said it had been removed because we hadnt used it for a while. I asked if it could be re-instated, but was advised that we would need to apply again. I paid on my personal credit card on this occasion. Next time, I will use Amazon.

Ordered three tiny sd cards and thought shipping would be only £1.51. Checkout revealed £4.16. Disgraceful. E-Buyer needs to have a rethink on their shipping policy. They can ship three almost weightless cards for less than £1.51, but charge £4.16. Very disappointed with E-Buyer.

Bought my item but couldn't pay with Paypal. Ebuyer site couldn't forward me to Paypal. Problem was that I didn't have my card with me.

Ordered over £100 worth of items on Free Saturday delivery then added 2 very small low value items (not on Saturday delivery) and this demoted the whole order to normal order charges, with no way of splitting the two items out. Ended up taking them off the order.

I am a commercial buyer - I source computers for my clients. I wanted to pay using my company Paypal account but noticed a small proviso that, if I wished to pay using this method, then the free delivery would no longer be free as the item would have to be signed for. Firstly I would expect any items of value to be signed for anyway, secondly why should my chosen payment method trigger this delivery method change? I have never come across this condition on payment method before.

The information required JUST to purchase one item by credit card were intrusive, long winded and totally unnecessary. The only reason to bother with it was to buy the item, this company should cut out nine tenths of the paperwork, and make that work quickly.

Security system cancelled my order and asked for proofs to reactivate the order. When I had done this the order was not reinstated as promised but I was told to re-order online. When I did, the price had gone up!

It is very far from so called "one click checkout" even if I have paypal. They wanted too much information about me. Disappointed.

Bought a computer and then decided needed a monitor as well. I phoned up and asked which monitor was compatible (Correct cable etc.) for the computer. I was recommended a Dell monitor which when it arrived found it did not have the correct cabling after all. I phoned up again and was told to buy a HDMI to DVID cable, which I did. But this didn't work as a HDMI port is for downstream gaming etc.. So I still had nothing to connect the computer to the monitor. After sorting all this out myself, I phoned up yet again and retold this story and told them what was required, a Display Port to DVID computer port, which they agreed with. No apology was given until I complained, and no discount given. Technical support was incompetent.

Ebuyer has traps built into its ordering system, last week I bought a Lexmark printer that was marked "free delivery" on checking out only two options existed, next day delivery at 16 pounds or for 1 pound more delivery before 12 noon, (Customer services said that a further option free 5 day delivery was offered IT WAS NOT) thinking that the "free delivery" would be added later I ordered, alas it was not!! this is NOT the first time this has happened to me, I asked customer services to refund the delivery after much turmoil the refunded 50%, BE CAREFUL FREE IS NOT ALWAYS FREE!!

Using an i phone 6 with latest ios software i found it all but impossible to enter my address details, it just kept jamming on the first screen, then i found if i scrolled down and put my password in first this second screen did not disapear / become locked out when i then put my name and address details in the top half, this then proceeded to happen all over again when i tried to enter a secondary delivery address for the goods to be shipped to, have i found a bug in the mobile friendly version of your website ? i dont know, i dont really know why i persevered as i found this whole process incredibly painful, i did however as a friend had a pc nearby and i was trying to acheive this in his office on the phone i then used your standard website portal, so you have a new customer today but you so nearly did not. if i had not been like a dog with a bone i'm sure i would have shopped elsewhere, perseverance, but i would not shop again on ebuyer with my i phone 6... kind regards andy podmore

Strange that I am not shown what is in my basket when making payment. This may be because I registered during the checkout process but regardless, I want to be sure what I'm paying for. No model number included in the item description / specification.
