“I am a housewife not a trades person. I looked at various websites and found yours to be reasonable. I ordered reject decking as it was an area we would not use very often. When the Carpenter arrived he sent me this email "all material substandard, I would not supply this quality. The bearers are to thin, the fence panels are cheap and nasty and I do not think I have seen worse, the decking boards although reject are just about fit to make a pallet". I was of course very shocked to hear this as the order was quite substantial (over £600). I await to hear from you.

“Delivery was made a day early and after business hours with no instructions. The cross beams are not the correct size for the posts that were delivered.”
“When I ordered some additional newels from their website there is no mention that profiles vary. The ones sent were completely different and when I asked them to be changed their response was that they didn't do returns and that I would have to find a way of getting them back to them.
Very good at selling but appalling customer service. Luckily discovered this before placing an order for a large project. Would not use again.”

“from order to delivery and then on to requesting assistance was all very hard work.
Delivery not pre advised, therefore ended up being left on the driveway, no signature, no packing list/shipment note. Due to this I thought I had been short delivered only to find that I had got the right amount of boards based on the measurements given, however when built it is a decking board short as the way it was calculated leaves you very little wriggle room on your fitting, but in reality the width measurement used did not include covering the joists!!!!
Can't speak with anyone so you end up sending emails back and forth. Made to measure decking kits was what I put in my search engine to find edecks and I am thoroughly disappointed with the experience. My suggestion would be to go to your local timber merchants and speak to someone in person if you want a good service and actually a kit that is fit for purpose.”
“After a few days a cream coloured line about 600mm long has appeared in the middle of the large piece of artificial Grass - It is really noticeable contacted your customer-care who have said "in their view it is fit for purpose" then you have offered 10% off next order.
My advice to anyone who orders artificial grass - check all of the supplied grass carefully for faded areas!!!!!!!”
“The delivery arrived on time.
The deck boards were generally ok but out of the 10 bought, two were split. I managed to work around the weak areas but all the same, if I needed to use all the wood I was laying down two defects which would have posed issues before envisaged.
Overall I was happy with the product.”
“Customer service good , Had issues with the delivery and then some broken deckboards which were exchanged . The only downfall is the delivery time as can take up to 4 days to receive the goods. Overall happy with the product and customer is happy which counts .”
“Fast delivery. One length short to finish the job. Poor quality wood sent. Splintered when I applied wood protector. Wood was very damp when delivered so make sure you dry it out before use otherwise you end up with huge gasps. Lots of knots which fell out leaving big holes.”

They missed the first delivery date leaving at home all day waiting - no calls or able to contact their 'transport' department for an update. next delivery date...guess what? missed again. 3 days later managed to find out that it hadn't even been picked up from their delivery hub for delivery in the first place.
I eventually managed to cancel the order and asked for a refund. 2 weeks later and countless calls I managed to get a refund. BTW - calls are at premium rate so they cost me an additional £23 to get no decking and my money back - they are utterly useless in every way possible. Avoid as you have been warned...”
“"Tell us how Edecks made you happy" Why the assumption we was/are happy?? I have had 2 orders recentlythe first, was late, excuses of bank holidays so caused delays, but the transport when arrived tells us they worked oer the BH, so some where it seems it's just a blame game instead of excepting they failed. Gave me a discount code for next order, which turned out to be less than £2 on a £340+ order, takes the pee some what. The second order came on the next working day so shows they can do. The world relys on communication, and I think this company could do with a massie load of it.”
“Customer service seemed good but the decking boards weren't that great and the stair stringers were quite frankly poorly cut and really uneven. As I had booked specifically some days of work to fit the decking I didn't have the luxury of not using them. Some of the materials used such as the newel posts have strapping mark a and no care had been taken to pick good quality materials like I would have done if I had the luxury of getting the materials from the local timer merchant. Needless to say I will not use this company again...”
“i order a cheap decking but i still expected. a half descent deck.
When i picked up a piece of 3.6m at one end it snapped (so totally useless) . plus the deck where badly warped. i wont be buying from e-deck again. the only positive thing i can say is the delivery driver. was very helpful. Big thanks the the delivery firm.”
“I've learned that low price isn't everything by ordering with eDecks. The ordering process was easy enough and delivery was confirmed shortly after. The total order was £850-ish. A day before the delivery was due I was called by the delivery department to advise that the driver will not offload the goods and I would have to present to offload. 'Some drivers help with offloading some don't' is what I was told. At no point during the ordering process was it made clear that I would have to offload the materials (560kg) myself.
I took the day off and was then called by the driver saying he won't help with offloading- after a lot of discussion they arranged an alternative driver (who was a nice enough chap) to collect the load from the depot and deliver and help with offloading. I was told it would cost me £300+ to cancel the order as it had left their depot. At no point was there an apology about the mess.
So, if you have a team of people that can do the offloading then great but if you don't then think twice befor taking the risk of ordering from this 'company'.”

“The decking was good value overall and the delivery was very quick. The only reason I wouldn't rate it higher is that a fair number of the slats had holes in and a few had cracks. If I needed decking in the future I'd probably go for a better quality, but in general would recommend Edecks.”
