“Chooses eGlobal because of the price, but the delivery gave me a lot of problems, and I was not able to contact the courier directly. Result: received the poroduct after about a month. Surely better paying something more to Amazon or Eprice. ma la consegna mi ha creato moltissimi problemi.”
“Placed an order on 24th December and now the 11th January and still no sign of it being delivered. Been sent a tracking number from them showing it's in Normanton and had a link to Yodel but they say they don't have the parcel yet. Communication is terrible, wont be shopping with them again”
“Ordered and paid for an Olympus camera. Waited and waited and then was told the order was cancelled (I did get a refund after 20 days). I then bought the camera from John Lewis. Then thought I would give them another chance and ordered an Olympus lens. Once again, the order was cancelled three weeks later and I got a refund. Needed the lens for a holiday and it is too late now. Badly let down by a company offering goods it either doesn't have or can't obtain. Prices look good but maybe they are too good to be true. Take my advice, pay a bit more and get what you want.”
“Worst experience shopping online. Even though watch is listed as "lost in transit", eglobal has refused to refund my money and for some reason paypal refused to refund the money. Thieving clowns!!!”
“Before buying from eGlobal you should ask yourself whether you're a patient person or someone of a nervous disposition. If the answer is no to either or both of those then here be dragons... Walk away and find your bargain elsewhere.
I have a feeling that most of the (negative) reviews on here are from generally impatient people who gave up on the process before it finished.
You have to understand that eGlobal is based in Hong Kong. They have a warehouse situated in the UK, but the company is not here. So contact can seem frustratingly limited. When you contact the company, do it through their support email, do not try and open a support ticket because it will never get answered. If you contact them on a Friday, then don't expect a reply until Monday. Hong Kong time is 8 hours ahead.
Purchase only via Paypal or credit card, so you can get your money back if you need to. Finally, do use the purchase insurance. I've read reviews of them not replacing lost uninsured items.
eGlobal unfortunately use Yodel to deliver their parcels.
I ordered a Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 on Black Friday after much researching of eGlobal and a little hand-wringing. I spoke to a couple of people who'd left eGlobal reviews on YouTube. They'd all gotten their stuff, so thought I might as well buy a new Tab S3 for the price it was being sold 2nd hand in most places I looked.
So I waited. After a week and a bit I hadn't heard anything about the order, so sent an email enquiring the status. They told me that the Tab S3 had been really popular and they had no stock in their UK warehouse and would have to ship it to the UK. Thought to myself that this was fine... I was prepared for this. Plus it's probably the worst time of the year to make this order.
A couple more weeks later I got an email giving me a Yodel tracking number and telling me that Yodel will sort it out in 1-2 working days. I wait 2 days and check the Yodel site. The status reads "Your parcel will soon be with us". I contact Yodel, who tell me they don't have the parcel yet, so send another email to eGlobal. I'm told not to worry and to be patient.
Another week goes by and my order has been sitting in the same status on the Yodel page. Another email is sent. eGlobal apologise tell me that they are trying to advance my order and I should expect to see the status change soon. Another week goes by and no change or messages. Yodel are still saying they've not got my order. I'm at the edge of losing my rag by now and send 4 angry emails to them, but it's Friday and I have to wait for the weekend to pass before I get an answer.
This leads to this morning when I wake to find a message from eGlobal saying that Yodel have my parcel. I check the page and whoopdeedoo! My parcel is finally at my local depot... Then out for delivery... Then bloody delivered!!!
So yes, I have my Tab S3... It's bloody lovely and genuine (International model - Korean). Was very well packed with no signs of package tampering. All came good in the end and I'm happy... BUT it was a stressful few weeks. I made sure I knew what I was getting into before buying but still the experience really tested my normally super-patient self to the extreme.
So yeah, buy from eGlobal but be very aware and use some common sense to avoid maximum stress. I made my order 26/11 and didn't get it until 31/12 but did order at the worst time!
Wasn't sure how to star this so gave it a 3, but I'd give it a 3.5/5. Item was exactly as described and eGlobal always answered my messages.
Happy shopping with eGlobal *crosses fingers hard* ;)”
“Ordered a new Samsung phone and it after opening it found out it requires a European Sim only!! Never said this is phone details and when I asked the company they did not respond. Trying to return with no luck so far. Huge mistake trying to save a buck. and now I may lose all my money. :(”
“Stay well away! Impossible to cancel order. I tried minutes after purchasing when I found out it is a Chinese company, not U.K. On website you have to 'Submit a ticket' I clicked on link plenty of times but nothing happened! You can't cancel by email or phone (don't bother, phone line is dead). I did find a marketing email address, they did respond a few days later confirming my request to cancel, said it was too late! It arrived a few days later, a Chinese Nintendo Switch. Now sending it back to China, including £15 admin fee and shipping costs!”
“Didn’t get item - fighting for refund - yodel lost or stole the parcel and Eglobal do nothing - I have cctv on house to prove no person game to my property as stated by yodel - going down small claims route with yodel and will report as a theft - use other companies not this one - no refund seems to be happening”
“Please do not use this company they fabricate items have been delivered and they haven't. When raising a complaint they leave it a considerable time between responses and then close the case without addressing the matter.
This company is unethical and does not have any customer care”
“Ordered an item on 7th December as website claimed was in stock. Had chase Eglobal up and was told not in stock and awaiting delivery. Finally sent out on 19th December but still not arrived. Estimated delivery by parcel company is 28th Dec. Was supposed be a Christmas gift.”
“First of all ,my transaction is under a PayPal dispute and waiting to be reviewed by ..The 28th of Nov I bought a Xiaomi Pocophone on Eglobal UK,with the fastest shipping option included, thinking them were located in UK,they are not, they are 100% Chinese company that deliveries from China So I realized that,my had, just when I ve got the shipment and place confirmation .So I immediately asked for more information about the shipment and have benn told to don t worry ,the object will be delivered very soon .The order has been stuck for one week at the custom..So I contacted them again and they just ignored me.I opened a PayPal dispute and them contact me saying they will investigate but I asked for a refund, after that keeping ignoring me again. At the moment the object still stuck at custom for a sort of problem with the goods itself .Only God knows what kind of mess those guys have done!Avoid those people as much you can and trust the all bad reviews they ve collected..that s what I ve got to save just 20 pounds!
On Friday the courier delivered the goods but I sent it back. The package was without any kind of protection and wrapped in a black garbage bag!”
“They sent me DOA broken phone and took more than a month and still not sorted. They are asking me to accept a replacement phone whilst I have been asking for a refund. now they confirmed that the phone they sent was broken, they should accept the refund as I don't need it any longer. Do I have to wait for their reply and a new phone for more than a month not buying a mobile phone for work? I don't think so. I even sent video clips as asked to tell them that the phone they sent was not working properly in the meantime. I have copied all the online discussions and video clips and keep it so that I can use it for dispute if they are not giving me a refund of nearly 200 pounds. Another thing is they sent me details of the product they sent, which was broken. It said it was made in Japan. I know it was not made in Japan as if it was made in Japan, there is a way of identifying it as I am Japanese. They even tell a lie of which country made it?”
“No item, very poor customer service (Order #7171290).
I placed an order on the 22nd Nov. I noticed in the tracking information the item hadn't been tracked any further since the 27 Nov. I contacted Customer Services who told me that the the item was stuck at customs and paperwork would be sent by the logistics team to get the item through. I was told they did not know how long this would take. I checked tracking again a few days later, which then stated the item had been returned to the shipper. I contacted Customer Services for clarification. Customer Services responded to tell me that all items returned to Aramex had been resent, no specific information about my item, and that I could apply to return the item once it had arrived - As I didn't ask this I asked for further clarification and new shipping information. I have received none. I was only told again that I can apply to return the item for a refund once it has arrived. The tracking number I have still states the item is being returned to shipper, so I doubt if this has even reached them yet! The Customer Service team have been unable to provide any specific information as to where my item is and I have had to open a case for a refund. It looks as though a lot of people have suffered similar recently and just been told it's been resent with no specifics.
It's likely I will have to try cancel the purchase on my card as eGlobal seem to have no idea what is going on.
First time using this company and would advise you stay clear!”
“I ordered Apple AirPods on 26th Nov 18, dispatched and tracking No received on the 5th Dec, checked on the 6th Dec was returned to Hong Kong from UK by senders request. Contacted company who said on the 6th Dec 18 I would get an immediate refund. 10th Dec 18 email stating that they have sent them again, to late purchased from a reputable UK company! I now have to wait again for their arrival, return and get a refund. Now opened a case with PayPal....what’s sounds to good to be true, usually is!”
“No contact telephone number available just email inquiries. I've been trying for days to contact them after ordering a £180 watch 3 weeks ago. They either ignore the emails or don't commit to a delivery date. They wont give me a refund until I have returned the goods I haven't actually received. I will be pursuing them through the small claims court.”
“Bought a phone my Sons birthday in November 2018. from Eglobal. The phone was sent via UPS and arrived at Tamworth England however it went missing pending investigation. After 3 weeks the phone is still lost with no apology from UPS. When asking for my money back from Eglobal Central they gave me back £10.00 compensation for phone I bought which cost over £120.00. No apology was given either by Eglobal. Please Please buyer be warned. I would not recommend them. Stay clear.”
“No customer service at all. No one replies. The order is staying on hold for already 6 days and no shipping information.
Don't even dare to buy anything without using PayPal.”
