“Everything about our experience of trying to switch to eir was a nightmare. After almost three months of issue after issue, we still do not have our original phone number restored. We finally had to submit a complaint to Comreg after the eir complaints procedure also failed us.”

“I have an application in for a phone line for a newly built house since August 2016. I am given a new date of completion every few weeks or months and it is always pushed out again without ANY work having been done to complete it. I have been given a new date of completion for the end of Feb which will be 6 months after applying for the phone line. There are other houses around us with phone lines so it's not as if we are in the middle of nowhere.”
“I first rang Eir about a new build back in October. I stressed that some works would need to be carried out first, i.e. A pole erected as this was a new build. However I received a modem within 3 days ....and still have no connection 4 months later! And nobody in Eir can tell me when this work will be scheduled. I payed the deposit for both mobile phones at the shpoe and in the bill i have been asked again to pay the deposit!!!
The bill includes international text that my wife never did!!!!”
“We can get no internet where we live,we pay monthly for sky and monthly for Netflix which we can use as Internet so bad,eir should be saying they can supply the service when it's so bad where we live,neighbours across the rd get nearly 3 times better internet than us ,I am paying for a service we can't use and paying for other services like sky etc that we can't use????”

“It has been absolutely brutal. I ordered a new line to my renovated house . I asked for it to be delivered underground and at point of sale I was told that was no problem. I am weeks on and I still have not had the line installed. Only yesterday the technician was meant to install on a rescheduled visit but didn't show up. On any occasion that I phoned customer service over the past few weeks I have been passed from one department to another - so incredibly inefficient. The service has been the worst I have received anywhere in my life.”
“I wish we had never switched from Virgin Media to Eir. Since we changed on 22nd December we have had an engineer visit three times as our TV service just keeps switching off. We were promised a "seamless" transition and this has not been the case at all.”
