Bought an aircon unit, the fan stopped working and it’s out of warranty. Was told a repair would be £200 to £300 yet a new unit is around £300. I said that was disgraceful for a repair cost as only the fan isn’t working. I was told to contact a local person to see if they can fix it and nothing they can do. They won’t even sell me any replacement parts so I can’t fix it regardless. Avoid this brand and appliances direct company.”

“Bought an aircon unit sf12000 from appliances direct in April expecting a hot summer wishful thinking on the odd time it has been warm have been unable to use it as it makes a horrendous noise and the oscillating motion does t work Ive been battling for a return and swap to no avail so far

“I live in a Park Home which was connected to Natural Gas in 2018/19. The new gas hob from Electriq in my home was supplied by Happy Energy and installed in March 2019. Yesterday 26 July 2023 I had a Government notice via the Park Home office to let me and other residents know that a number of supplied in 2018/19 hobs had to be recalled; to stop using them immediately because they are deemed to be too dangerous! I noticed two faults the day I began to use it. Not to be recommended.”
“Avoid this oven and Appliances Direct. Now that it just outside of the warranty then they aren't interested. I am assuming that the thermocouple has failed. The gas comes on ok but won't stop on. I have tried various independent parts suppliers but with no luck.”

“Gone through 3 ovens, lasting between 1 year - 1.5 years a time. Every oven has had the heating element break, unbelievable and so horrendous for the environment. Given up with warranty and getting a different brand. No one can repair this brand so not worth using them.”

Brought the EQOVENM2 in black (which is an Oven) it broke within 11 months of purchasing it, just before Christmas.
We called the manufacturer who still has the case open today and I still have a broken oven. (4months of no oven for me and with children, I was also pregnant at the time of opening the claim)
Their customer service is abysmal, they constantly hang up on you and have ridiculous wait times (longest I waited was 2 and a half hours when someone was meant to be passing me to the correct department.
The staff I spoke to barring 1 person were all extremely rude. I have also opened a complaint now 4 times and no one has actually opened one on my account. So I can't move it to an ombudsman... This company is a joke and I wouldn't ever buy one of their products again. I would not recommend either. I am now buying a oven out my own pocket, but I will not drop this complaint. I have never been so disgusted with a company.”
“Condenser drier 10 days old burst into flames and set fire to my hallway avoid at all costs they never return your calls Email apologising but do nothing I will be speaking to my solicitor. Imagine if I wasn't in at the time”
“Washing machine only Lasted 1 year and then ruined my 1 year old kitchen by shaking so badly it put the whole thing out of line and now my cupboard doors won't shut.
I would never buy an electriq product again and would warn other people off buying one. Usless piece of rubbish. Very unhappy customer”

I purchased an electriq range oven, after 6 months of use the oven door glass exploded out of no were we were out when this happened we came home to the oven door shattered.
This is very strange, when I rang buy it direct they told me I had one year warranty and that electriq will sort ot out.
I was chuffed as I was afraid they wouldn't, well when I say the chap that I got over the fone could not of been any more rude, he was obnoxious.
He rudely stated glass should not break and I replied I know and not shatter when and made out that we had done it and I said we were both in work.
He then bluntly stated were not covering that under warranty as its the glass.
I was shocked so looks like il have to lie the loss as parts for this cannot be got.
Think twice before you buy these products.

“Bad customer service, very rude person who hanged up on me because she did not know what part I am talking about. Then, after talking to someone else, it took them 1 month to figure out what spare part I need, although they had a picture of it. Then, they contacted me by phone, just to tell me that they will send me an email with a quotation for the part. The email never arrived, even though I contacted them again. End of story, I had to contact different manufacturer to order a spare part that almost fits my stove. Better that nothing.”
