“Got the kids leaf blower..it was missing the charging cable ..which was supposed to be included..contacted customer service to be told it wasn’t included which it was..not helpful and I had to go buy one..very unpleasant customer experience”
“I always liked STHIL product. But all my batteries for my mini electric chainsaw last me for approximativement 5 mins max. Not very long if hou ask me. But for the 5 mins it cut great lol.”
“Purchased a HTA 86, haven’t used it more than 15 minutes, when extended pole it becomes detached in the drive, brought to dealer 5 weeks and not fixed as of yet, should it not just be replaced or refunded? Dealer is trying and offered his personal saw, come on Stihl, was planning on one of your chainsaws next but not so sure now.”
“Very poor service from stihl dealer and stihl Canada. Will never buy stihl product again!!
Bought a BGA 57 leaf blower and battery lasts 10-15 mins. Was told I had a 7 day guarantee to return. Unit was used for 20 mins max and they said it was not in returnable condition. HORRIBLE SERVICE AND SUPPORT!!! Please see pics below and beware of purchasing ant stihl products!!”
“Ever since I bought it new it has never run right even after I took it back twice.it is an 800 dollar weed wacker. So I just bought an echo leaf blowwer. Very pleased”
“I bought a MS261 saw 3 years ago after my MS026 finally died. I bought the 026 in 1999 and it lasted 20 years. I also bought the MS036 at the same time and it lasted 21 years...I thought these were great products so replaced both with the latest versions...MS261 and the MS362. Well the 261 died after 3 years and only bucked about 20 cords of wood. I am very upset that a $1000 dollar saw only lasted 3 years. I had the extended warranty for 2 years as i use the Stihl oil and always used 91 octane fuel. Is this normal that this saw would die after 3 years....have you started using chinese parts on the piston, rings, cylinders? ps the rings were melted into the piston......Very dissapointed in Stihl products now....”
“I have a BR106 blower which is older BUT Stihl does not have the simple parts to keep it going like a fuel and air filters. My question to Stihl is how long can a buyer expect that you stand behind you tools a far as support.”
“Will never get a stihl again, mine broke took it to a stihl dealer to get fixed and its gonna take 2 months or over to get part in. Will go with a other brand next time.”
“I bought the FSA 57 whipper and the BGA 60 blower this summer and they are both terrible products. I wasted a lot of money based on the dealerships recommendation. The FSA 57 feed of whipper string is a joke! Ridiculous! Who came up with that idea? The BGA 60 battery lasts for 10 to 15 minutes tops and then is reduced to half power which cuts it's blowing force to less than half power. How disappointing when I hoped to switch to electric tools! I really feel like I've been ripped off! Terrible products from my previously favorite brand!”
