“Customer service has been terrible. I bought a Stihl Toy Chainsaw and it broke within the first day of my son playing with it. I reached out to Stihl multiple times and did NOT receive any replies.”

This necessitated the purchase of two additional batteries.
My Stihl worked from 6 - 8 hours a day 4 days a week.

“I am a 74 senior lady who bought this to avoid picking up the leaves...I found the bag awkward to dump the leaves into a leaf bag..it would be better to have an opening at the end of the bag not along the side..and I found it heavy and awkward to use. Also it did not grind the leaves small enough to use as mulch on the garden.”
“Very poor battery life. It’s good for a condo patio nothing else. The battery dies after 5 mins and the blowing power is mediocre. Damaging product to the Stihl brand and street cred.”
“This review is not so much about the products but the return policy. I bought the wrong item and wanted to return so I could then by the correct Stihl item. The website states that I can return to participating a Stihl dealer near me. I called three different places who have never heard of this before. One of them said they would try and help me. I drove down to their location and they took my item and gave me a slip showing I returned it but did not give me the money. They told me to then contact Stihl with a picture of the receipt. I did this and heard nothing back. It’s impossible to get someone on the phone so I used their contact form. This didn’t work. After a week I contacted the business who tried to help me. They ended up sending an email that got their attention and gave me my refund. All I’m saying is I will never buy from your website again because of this return process. Otherwise the products are fine but I’ll stick with another brand that takes less of my time and energy. Good news is the business that helped me made a sale because they actually had what I was needing in the first place.”
“I will never buy one of your products again. It arrived missing several pieces. I have tried to contact you several times and no response. The expensive trimmer I bought is useless. All I wanted was to ship me the missing parts I clearly asked for in detail. I will be reversing the charges through my credit card as you failed to respond. Customer service needs a lot of work. “Products are great but the website info was misleading and the customer service process is a pain.
I wanted to buy the Autocut C 3-2 trimmer head for it's ease of spooling. I checked the compatibility info on the website. My model number and serial number matched what was listed, so I purchased it. Then after it arrived it did not fit. Customer service said that even though the serial number matched, my trimmer was the older model so the trimmer head I purchased wouldn't work. And since I purchased online directly from Stihl, they cannot process a return and gave me some lengthy process to follow through an authorized reseller.”
