“The PDF resumes aren’t read properly by the Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), therefore pulls and fills out the wrong information in he system. This ends up distortion my profile and strengths. You should fix this technical issue ASAP. Just feel free to run a resume through and ATS and you will see what I mean. Otherwise the resume looks pretty good anyway.”

“Below is the feedback I provided on March 11, 2019 - two hours after spending some time with the Enhancv product - unfortunately, I didn't receive any meaningful reply or engagement from a customer service team member. Lacking customer service is a tremendous miss on the part of the Enhancv. original comments below . . . "I signed up for a trial a long time ago and then life got int he way and I was not able to use the 7 days before they expired. I tried again today to see what I could create with EnhanceCV and without a trial I went ahead and paid for a month of the service. I have been exploring and configuring for the past two hours and realize that this isn't for me. You have a great offering and I suspect it is (and should be) popular with people just entering the work force through to people reaching their mid-career point. I will most definitely recommend this. That said, there's nothing here for me that I haven't been able to develop for myself and am respectfully asking if you would kindly refund my fees - I am simply not going to to use any of the material I created this afternoon. I sincerely appreciate your consideration”

“I found Enhancv extremely cumbersome to use, very limited in its ways to present information, and most definitely a tool I would abandon if it weren’t the standard for my consulting firm. Even if it had enabled upload of an existing resume it would have improved by only a tad.”

“I haven't updated my CV in years, this has been a very helpful tool. Additional editing tools to help me keep my CV to one page would be welcome - the ability to adjust font sizing, etc. Otherwise, making it exportable as a Word document would help.”

“Designs of high quality and visually appealing. The different options and the customizability is very limited. Your business model is your biggest weakness, it is pushy, forcing you to invite friends to use your free version/service (makes it appear scammy) and your pro version is way too expensive taking into account that your product is basis. Furthermore, offering me a 70% discount on my next month when i tried to cancel my subscription is a slap in the face. So if I had not tried to cancel my subscription you would have let me pay the 20$, but since im considering leaving you will give me a discount of 70%? I think your product could be very good in the future, if you offer more customizability and work on your business model. Best regards, Noel”

“Enhancv is a great platform, which is certain to help people. It works by letting one introduce themselves to potential employers in the best possible light. What I liked best were the user-friendliness and intuitive design. However, I did not appreciate the lack of some basic features for text formatting. For instance, there was no way to justify the text of my cover letter, which looks sloppy and amateur. Overall, I am satisfied with Enhancv and I find it quite useful.”

“I think Enhancecv is great for creating a CV that stand out from the pack - to the extent that is possible in this world of automated resume parsing. But, in companies that are below "enterprise" size where someone may actually see your resume, I think it a pretty awesome tool. Just - please - remove the requirement for dates in blocks like education.”

Hi there, Thanks for the feedback! In order to remove the dates in education (or any other section), click on any text from the education item, then in the popover / bar that appears over, click on the gear icon, and there you will find the option to show & hide the period. Hope that helps! We are also tirelessly working on improving parsability and machine readibility, and we'll try to be more transparent there as to what measures we are taking. In the meantime, an interesting read by a competitor which refutes this common misconception about parsing and big companies.
