Enhancv offers a slick presentation of my resume. Automated grammar check is a bonus although sometimes it be annoying. It indicates sentences are long without recommending what needs to be modified to make it short. Enhancv could do more by offering automated reviews and partnering with ATS systems to offer value.

Very nice design. Different fonts are not allowed for different sections of CV. It would be good if Experience section is allowed to continue on the same page (because most of the time it is longest part of one's CV) instead spreading on the next page(s).

Hi Bobi, Thanks for dropping us a line! We are constantly testing our resumes with people from the industry (e.g. recruiters) and we because they are the people who'll be reading your resume in the end we intentionally limit some of the editing capabilities. It's a little tradeoff and annoyance (esp. when you are trying to fit everything into one page), which nevertheless helps make your resume more pleasing on the eyes and readable for the recruiter. However, we are constantly rethinking if there is a smarter solution to both sides :)

Everyone who has seen my resume has expressed surprise and given positive feedback. I find it easy to use and very powerful; I can rearrange sections, add and remove information to tailor the resume to specific opportunities. I look forward to more options for formatting and fonts!

I like the features and design. However, I wanted my CV to be a 1 pager and that was a real challenge because it's not possible to resize the various sections. It would be great to either be able to resize those sections or have a "fit to one page" button which does it automatically. Thanks

Hi Kenza, Thanks for sharing your experience with Enhancv! Our aim is to do all the formatting for you and have you focus on content. Unfortunately, in some cases resumes end up with a tiny amount of info on the next page, just like you did. We occasionally experiment with ways to address such cases, however, we also don't want customers to be negatively impacted because of lowered font size just few points in order to squeeze couple more sentences onto first page (e.g. hard to read on print).

I enjoyed the process of making my resume. It's fairly easy. When you submit it to an employer as a PDF and their application process auto fills employment history and other areas they have all auto filled wrong. It's very frustrating re-typing all the info in. Also I've noticed some employers won't take a PDF format for submission

Hi Carrie, Sorry to hear about your experience. Indeed, some of the systems that auto-fill forms, especially old ones, could be frustrating. From a technical perspective, unfortunately, the issue isn't the PDF itself, it's often the way those systems read the file. We've seen such issues with .doc files and .txt files as well. We've even seen the same system read one resume amazingly well and another extremely poor, just because it thinks the person's name in the second resume isn't a real name. We are always testing new ways to make our resumes even more readable by such systems. Point taken from your comment, so we'll try to be more transparent in the measures taken!

Really helpful. I would love to see a feature that allows you to save sections not on the resume, but on a separate subsection. This will help us to build resumes on an even more easier way, like a Lego that you transfer pieces from one set to the other.

Adjustable font size, embedded hyperlinks and more freedom of control over section size and placement would be nice. Especially for a paid service

Hi Michael, Thanks for being frank! As we've replied to other customers as well, we have purposefully limited the customization capabilities in order to ensure the resumes we produce are easy on the eyes and optimized for reading (both for people and machines). We don't want our customers to be negatively impacted because they lowered the font size just few points in order to squeeze couple more sentences onto first page. However, we try to always improve our editing experience, so stay tuned :)
