“I found you quite straight forward but I'm not tenical An needed help with someone to down load my documents I still don't know who to call for my break down if ever happens”
“I can't rate Esure highly enough. I had a bad experience abroad and was robbed. Upon returning to the UK Esure have been an absolute pleasure to deal with and have made the whole claims process quick, easy and stress free. Friendly and helpful staff, quick and full payout/replacements and all their partners were just as good. Thank you Esure, you have made a terrible experience that little bit better.”
“Unprofessional staff, absolute crooks who once realising that I would move policies cancelled my policy despite me having paid for the month and having been clearly told that the policy would run for the month. I cannot reiterate enough that I will never deal with esure again.”
“Using a comparison site and prompted to ‘go to provider’, wouldn’t load up my details. Esure website wouldn’t allow me to enter my employment details and unable to find my address. So gave up. Terrible, terrible service!!”
“After being a loyal customer over the years and finally requiring multiple car insurance policies who else to call but esure.
After all reassurance from the esure salesperson that my yearly premium increase was due to insuring multiple vechicles, which did make perfect sense to me. Did I then find out some months later when I went to amend my policy that one of the vechiles I believed to be legally insured was nothing of the sort!
After several calls to esure to bottom out where the confusion was and still not receiving a satisfactory answer I cancelled the direct debit and policy.
Oh but.....you are now due esure xyz fees for whatever. The polite individual I was in contact with from esure could easily see what had happened and where confusion had been, but unfortunately the bill and fees still laid with me.
Even when I mentioned that due to this "mishap" I had been driving without insurance the response still was we want the end of contract early fees and what ever else you could think of.
My take on that is good luck with those and I will argue the case. No fees no loyalty different insurer for life.”
“My wife is currently with Esure (for now) and back in 2015 she had an accident where a van cut across her on a roundabout and damaged her car as well as injuring my wife. My wife explained to Esure that she wasn't at fault and provided Esure with all the information they required. As the guilty party insuranc did not respond to Esure within the timescale, they (Esure) automatically put the claim down as a 50/50 resulting in my wifes monthly premiums rocketing through no fault of her own. There was no communication made to my wife regards this and we found out due to noticing the monthly payments as she didn't receive any renewal documents. My wife did question this and as usual to date, no return communication made to my wife. Terrible support to their own paying customers.”
“Bought esure insurance when bought a car on a provisional licence, told them sitting test in a few months, when passed test called and they wanted to charge 250 pounds admin cost to change policy. Asked why they did not tell there would be a high admin cost when they were informed that obviously I was going to sit driving test, they said they cannot advise and people do not necessarily sit a driving test but stay on a provisional licence.. How ridiculous. Put in a complaint but cannot drive until resolution.”
“I was involved in an accident April this year the other party admitted fault from the start and the case was closed without dispute.
My car was repaired to an excellent standard by Mackenzie body shop and I was happy with the resolve.
In august my renewal came through with a 50% increase on my premiums and the only answer I was given when I phoned up and asked was
"Because you've had an accident you're more likely to have another one"
So how much did it cost you Esure?
Oh yes nothing as it was covered by the other party's insurer
Here is something everyone would like to hear the other persons insurance went up by around 30% after they admitted full responsibility after the incident was resolved their insurer "Sheila's wheels"
My insurer "Esure" said the case was closed as not my fault and my no claims will not be affected.
But on renewal my premiums went up by 50%
Sheila's wheels up by 30% when your at fault?
Esure premiums up by 50% when not at fault?
Will I be renewing with Esure again "that's a big absolutely NO!!!"”
“Don't use them. Gave us a van for a courtesy car. Then made us chase it up with the rental company. Sad there would be no disruption to our life but have lost 2 days, missed appointments and child's football presentation because of them. They don't know what customer service is. Shocking”
