“Very good company. Was very easy to insure my car with them, they checked with the database to confirm my NCD, so I didn't have to contact my previous provider to ask for them to send me the proof and after forward it to Esure.”
“My partner Janice called Esure today to ask for a house insurance quote.
This was because unfortunately through no fault of our own, we could not do an online quote because there website wouldn't except the address of our new home.
We were further told that because we had called we would only receive a 10% discount and not the 20% discount promised to online customers.
After explaining our online issues to the sales advisor he advised us that the 10% discount was all he could offer.
At the time,this was acceptable as we only wanted a quote.
After approximately 38 minutes of the usual questions, we received our quote and said our goodbyes
The sales advisor obviously thought he had cancelled the call when he commented to his colleague “She was a f@#king pain in the arse.”
We both heard this very clearly.
We have been a customer of esure for a number of yours and to say I was disgusted is and understatement.
So much for esure’s “friendly staff who provide great customer service.””
“I am on my second year of car insurance with Esure. I have found them competitively priced. I was unlucky enough to be involved in an accident four days into my first policy and they were amazing. Sympathetic, quick, efficient. I would probably stick with them even if they weren't the cheapest as I trust them.”
“I am currently going through an insurance claim with them at the moment (they are my insurer) had to wait 6 days for a courtesy car which is not helpful when i need to get to work!! have a dashcam with video evidence of the accident and have now been told the party at fault are disputing the accident (they don't know about the video evidence) which when I told a representative of esure I had this evidence they asked if I was an expert on speed!! sorry I am your customer you are to represent me, cut the rude attitude and get on with the job i pay you alot of money for. Will never use again wouldn't recommend”

I have been driving since I was 17 and now I’m 43, with a clean history of driving (no accidents) In June 2018 I was involved in a car accident where I was stationary whilst waiting to turn right. A driver hit me in the back of my car and my car was written off. The third party took responsibility, so you would assume this would be clear cut. My car insurance was up for renewal within a few weeks of the accident and we needed to buy a car in a rush because I have elderly parents that I care for and we always go on a driving holiday. Esure firstly messed us around by not giving us a replacement vehicle for 10 days, they were quite rude to deal with except for one member of staff. As renewal was coming up I called them for a quote and they ‘PROMISED’ that once they had received their money back from the other insurance company they would re-evaluate our current price and refund the difference. Bearing in ind I’ve been with them for quite a few years and I have 12 years NCB. my usual annual price is £550, I paid them £1600 or so with the expectation that they were going to re-evaluate as they said. One year later once they finally get their money back we are given £150 refund. Shocked can not describe my feelings around this, considering that over the course of the year and many phone calls they reassured me that they would refund me the difference. Long story short don’t trust them! They will make money off of your unfortunate circumstance. Apparently once you are involved in an accident you are statistically likely to have another accident, I still don’t understand why I would be punished for an accident that wasn’t my fault and how comes my new insurance is once again £550? Esure are the losers because now they’ve lost a good customer. Final comment what’s the point of paying NCB if my premium has changed because of an accident that wasn’t my FAULT! All I can say is stay away from them! Cheap, but definitely not cheerful!”
“Had to deal with third party negotiation team due to a non fault accident caused by someone who was insured with esure. There was no negotiation just take it or leave it and I quote “ you are not our customer so you have no rights “. Completely unacceptable. I just hope all these people who are saying it’s easy to insure their car realise that it won’t be so easy to deal with them when making a claim. Fortunately my insurance company were fantastic and I certainly won’t have any dealings with Esure again ( if I can help it)”
