I have been with them for 5 years and never made a claim and now I have 5 years NCD and they are trying to charge me £1070 up from £670.
I called to ask why there was an increase and they could not give me a reply. Their sales team is terrible to say the least. You have to call and hold for ages and you get answered by someone outside the UK who cannot speak good English and they have no idea about customer services.

“Basically, I had already who I wanted to get insured with but it was such a hassle to actually pay for it. I decided to go elsewhere and settled for Esure. There website was very easy to navigate and I filled in my details and it was a bit cheaper so I was happy.
When I got to the pay now part, put my number in and it took payment. The whole process was simple and took less than 10minutes, including activating my account and downloading my Certificate of Insurance. Depending on the renewal cost in 2023 I will definitely be using them again. Thankyou Esure”
“I have just spoken to esures claims dept after having to wait over 50 minutes on the phone only to be offended by her attitude policy no 81909118 ref no 4005132532 some one claimed 2400 pounds on my insurance policy for a incident i knew nothing about back in march 2021 its now sept 2022 and they still havnt resolved this false claim they charged me 60 odd pounds on top of my next policy iv also been clobberd a further 180 pounds on top of my new policy esure claim that they sort out all problems within eight weeks i dont think its funny”
“Joke of a company. Charged me £27 to cancel a policy that I had paid up to date. Also took the month in advance payment out the same day. When I threatened not to pay they told me they would pass to a bailiff company. So not use.”

“I am absolutely disgusted by Esure. I've had both my car insurance and home insurance for many years with esure. My previous year's renual was just under £300. With another year's loyalty bonus and another year's no claim bonus, I was expecting my renual this year to be around the £250 mark. To my absolute horror, this years renual has shot up to well over £500, for no apparent reason. After thinking there might have been some sort of mistake, I contacted Esure directly and was told it was due to inflation. Its funny that on price comparison sites my quotes are well under £300! What an absolute shambles of a company. I feel totally let down by Esure having been with them for so many years. What a disgrace of a company.”

“0verpriced increased price hikes over 3 years the last price increase been by 25% I eventually got motivated to look at other companies. I found a far superior policy which included fully comp instead of the party also included a courtesy car and breakdown cover this price was £260 compared to esure quotes of 520 for third party fire and theft absolutely disgusting”
