I am currently going through an insurance claim with them at the moment (they are my insurer) had to wait 6 days for a courtesy car which is not helpful when i need to get to work!! have a dashcam with video evidence of the accident and have now been told the party at fault are disputing the accident (they don't know about the video evidence) which when I told a representative of esure I had this evidence they asked if I was an expert on speed!! sorry I am your customer you are to represent me, cut the rude attitude and get on with the job i pay you alot of money for. Will never use again wouldn't recommend

Avoid them like the plague!! I have been driving since I was 17 and now I’m 43, with a clean history of driving (no accidents) In June 2018 I was involved in a car accident where I was stationary whilst waiting to turn right. A driver hit me in the back of my car and my car was written off. The third party took responsibility, so you would assume this would be clear cut. My car insurance was up for renewal within a few weeks of the accident and we needed to buy a car in a rush because I have elderly parents that I care for and we always go on a driving holiday. Esure firstly messed us around by not giving us a replacement vehicle for 10 days, they were quite rude to deal with except for one member of staff. As renewal was coming up I called them for a quote and they ‘PROMISED’ that once they had received their money back from the other insurance company they would re-evaluate our current price and refund the difference. Bearing in ind I’ve been with them for quite a few years and I have 12 years NCB. my usual annual price is £550, I paid them £1600 or so with the expectation that they were going to re-evaluate as they said. One year later once they finally get their money back we are given £150 refund. Shocked can not describe my feelings around this, considering that over the course of the year and many phone calls they reassured me that they would refund me the difference. Long story short don’t trust them! They will make money off of your unfortunate circumstance. Apparently once you are involved in an accident you are statistically likely to have another accident, I still don’t understand why I would be punished for an accident that wasn’t my fault and how comes my new insurance is once again £550? Esure are the losers because now they’ve lost a good customer. Final comment what’s the point of paying NCB if my premium has changed because of an accident that wasn’t my FAULT! All I can say is stay away from them! Cheap, but definitely not cheerful!

Had to deal with third party negotiation team due to a non fault accident caused by someone who was insured with esure. There was no negotiation just take it or leave it and I quote “ you are not our customer so you have no rights “. Completely unacceptable. I just hope all these people who are saying it’s easy to insure their car realise that it won’t be so easy to deal with them when making a claim. Fortunately my insurance company were fantastic and I certainly won’t have any dealings with Esure again ( if I can help it)

I had my car insured with this company for years. The first time I made a claim last week and was treated badly by their customer service. While i am giving the details of car theft , she asked me to call somebody else as I can not speak English, That m ount to harassment and discriminatory behaviour.

Cancel policy with no warning or real reason Absolutely shocking. Had email off sure saying missed payment by email and needed to pay before 16th October what was fine so called up on 8th to pay to find out had all ready been cancelled and if wanted to finish year with them needed to pay full policy up. I talked to manager and sent his email saying I had till 16th to pay £58 to get back up to date and he was.very rude and just kept saying need to pay full policy. I had been with them for nearly 4 years and got treated like dirt over missed payment. stay well clear worst customer service ever

Dreadful company. They are cheap for a reason. Pay a little more and get a much better service. Away to the states on business and missed a payment. Closed down my whole policy and wanted me to pay it off in full before I took out another car insurance policy 😂 Told them where to go. Absolutely abysmal treatment after being a loyal customer for 5 years.

Made me feel really bad about a no fault claim, like it was my fault. They sent my car to the worst garage ever with the worst reviews. My car had a genuine manufacture wing mirror on which got smashed in crash, the garage fitted a cheap aftermarket one that didnt even fit. Car came back two tone colour after a respray of damaged areas bumper was quarter sprayed instead of fully done so showed up like a sore thumb. interior door panel was hanging off, car was full of dust from powder coating. Then a engineer from esure tried to tell me the damage to tailgate wasnt caused by crash it was. customer service were shocking they just didnt care. It was as though they were the opposition. I am there customer and they made me feel I wasnt important. I will not be renewing with esure and hope nobody else has a terrible experience like me. Pay the extra and get a proper insurance company to look after like you deserve.

Esure have been disputing my headlight claim for nearly 3 weeks despite the fact that the garage have confirmed the damage is eligible and that the electrics could blow if rain water gets inside. I have called esure 9 times and spent 3.4hours on the phone. Each agent fails to leave informative notes on there system. Each time I called I have to go through all details again. I will never insure any of my cars with this company again. My complaint is going to the ombudsman.

I was involved in a rtc 4 days ago am fully comp have hire car add on and every extra you can have. Ive made over 25 telephone calls to be lied to accused of lying and am still with no vehicle. Ihave never been treated like this before and will be changing my insurance company as I would never reccommend anyone to use esure bloody discraeful service and just total lie after lie

Esure insurance is not a good service provider. You might be paying a 13 month policy instead of 12 months.

Mr father was sent to one of your repair centres Jesty in Christchurch , took 15 minutes to park . When we got in only to find nobody in reception . When someone came through said won't be a moment . Was sitting down when the lady jumped up and said god he nearly hit my car and walked out of reception and watched another customer park his car . Then came in out of breath and said golly that was close . Not a good start , then i think Gary came out and introduced himself and was very pleasant and explained the damage which is fine happy with that . But still waiting for the quote which was 3 weeks ago . Due to this fact and the trouble i had parking we will use another repair centre .

Worst insurance company Iv felt with!!!! Don’t ever take home insurance with these guys!!!! Nothing is covered. They are terrible to deal with!!!!

had an accident in January 2018 and it wasn't my fault. My car insurance went up to £350 from £80. I was living on a food bank for a long time. The company said I will get a refund once they will claim through the other side of the party who admits it was their fault. I still haven't got my refund and no one is taking any responsibility when I call the Esure insurance. From last 4 months, they droped my Insurance but still, I am paying around £115 and no luck on my refund.

Told me that they approved my car repairs then a week later I phoned them go get a update they said the car was a total loss. Then under valued my car by £4,500 Will never use again.

£70 charge for cancelling insurance!!! Cancelled as no longer need second car and got charged £70 which took over half of the pro rata amount I should have got back - shocking.

Very bad experience whith esure ! Be aware when u apply online they give y a coute dont add second driver ,increase the price from £40 to £170 !!! Customer advise are very bad !!!!! I cancelled my car insurance whith them!

Moved from busy town centre apartment where parking was in an open car park unlocked to a quiet rural cul-de-sac with a garage and driveway and my insurance was increased by £68! Apparently the town centre is less risky than the countryside and garage parking. Have got quotes from other companies and some are nearly half now ive moved! Horrible to deal with, can't wait for my policy to end. Absolutely awful company. Avoid!!!!
