Robbed my partner. Had car insurance renewed £477. Sent more noclaims to them and put his premiums up £260. Robbery, why have no claims if all ensure do is increase the price with them. Do not use this company.

I continue to have accounts made with my email address. It is rediculous that it is so easy for someone to open an insurance policy in my name. Simple solution is to implement a verification email. It makes me think that the company is in on the fraud. Hell, even this review website wants to verify my email!

Esure send out cheque's that bounce then it's left to you to call over and over again to find out what accounts are doing. My car was a total loss do I used my wages as deposit on new car while esure cheque cleared but not the case my bank have to inform me the cheque was not paid. I have called over 10 times wanting payment only to be left knowing nothing. I will be cancelling my policy and speeding all over social media the shocking antics of this company. If our payments are delayed to them we are penalized but they can just advise accounts have not got back to them is unacceptable and we are expected to just wait no time frame nothing. Do not use this company!!!

I would give this company 0* if I could So I took out car insurance with this company 2 days ago at £1022 for the year. For them 2 days later to to add an extra £783.57 onto my premium for no reason at all & without my knowledge. If I didn't log onto my online account to print off documents if wouldnt have noticed nearly £800 increase 2 days later than what I was quoted & took stay clear

Our beloved defender has been stolen and this horrible insurance company reject our claim!!! The reason is we put the flexible shelf at back ( which can take off easily then put seats put back ! ) , so they said my defender is a Van not a car anymore ! Based on this reason they refused to pay it. Stay away this insurance company !

E-sure are an appalling company with horrendous levels of customer service. Under no circumstances should E-sure actively be your insurer of choice. My car was covered from the 2nd May prior to being cancelled on the 31st May without my prior knowledge. E-sure mentioned that the cancellation was owing to me not providing proof of my No claim Discount. No contact was made in regards to requesting this, E-sure kept my payment and refused to re-instate the insurance despite the mistake being on their side. This means in essence E-sure receiving 'free money', without actually having to provide cover. This is completely unacceptable and inexcusable.

Dont do it! Unfair company, disrespectful staff and very poor service. I have been with Esure for over 5 years. In March I had a minor accident (1 scratch), and it was NOT my fault, someone scratched my car from the back while doing a U-turn. Driver decided to go through insurance. I gave my insurance the details of Police station and American Express as both buildings had camaras, esure did not request any footage. Few months later (they waited until my insurance renawal date) but they did not request it and 2 months later decided i have lost the claim. Apparently because the other driver had a solicitor - i have lost the claim and i am liable. Insurance increased by 120£ per month and i lost my no claim bonus. RIP OF MERCHANT. Dont do it -honestly you will regret it!

Horrible experience when you really need them, claim is a nightmare. So we have been insured for 25 years and thankfully claim free but when we needed ensure to replace some stolen items we have just hit a wall. I have never experienced such an unprofessional and awful customer service in my life, and I worked in this industry. Esure have been horrible when we needed help and have forced us to chase them constantly to find out what they are going to do about replacing our items. Not only the failure to communicate with us but when they do they have tried everything possible to worm their way out of replacing our items. We are still waiting for a reply after 5 emails and we are ready for crying. You should be ashamed esure!! Expect a automated and robotic response to this post because nothing will happen.. Avoid

Been with esure for 2 full years insurance, got my 3rd renewal by email and to my shock 3 years in a row my insurance has went up by £200. My original policy 2 years ago was £660, 2 years later with 2 years extra no claims = 10 years and now my quote is £1100, same car, same house, same people, Nothing has changed in 2 years so please tell me why my insurance is going up. On the phone they say my circumstances have changed. YES IM 2 YEARS OLDER. So ive just told them don't DONT renew my policy im going else where. called Directline yes no problem sir your yearly quote is £297. One Hell of a drop if you ask me.

Autorenewal rip-off merchants I'm currently on hold to esure by the person who said they were going to talk to accounts (25 minutes and counting - I suspect this might be a ghost) chasing a huge refund. The company took a year's worth of premiums off me through an automatic renewal, despite me being insured with another company. I cancelled my car insurance with the coop once I sold the car and then noticed what esure had done. Called esure to reclaim the money and that's when the hell started. 1. They refused to correctly tell me what documents they needed as proof. I submitted policy details, bank statements and more as proof. Went silent for 6 weeks. 2. Chasing it, the whole thing started to fall apart. Esure claimed didn't have adequate documents. Despite the policy information sent to them. Of course, they never said any of this by email, phone or anything else. So like this call, it went into the ether. I then sent them more documents and after a right disaster of a conversation, they promised a repayment of £526. "3 working days" 3. 10 days later, obviously, no refund. Called them up again. I get some rubbish about a delay because they had to run fraud checks 🙄 OK, I can see why that would be the case. "Plausible deniability and all that. "It'll be in your account by Wednesday. Cleared I Promise". B*ll*cks I thought, but I figured I could wait 3 more days on top of the 2 months. 4. Sure enough, it's now Thursday and nothing. No refund. Hence I'm now on hold. 35 minutes and counting, still. They're very definitely rip-off merchants. In cases like this, it's worth reporting to the Financial Ombudsman Service. It seems like it might be time for a Small Claims Court Case. Update: after 40 minutes of being on hold, the CC agent tells me the original person hasn't filled in the paperwork correctly and it'll be another 5 working days. Which is rubbish of course, since if it has been through the anti-fraud checks, the paperwork has to be correctly written in he first place. The manager is claiming that they can't "trace" the transaction, because their systems don't allow them to trace back from the person who initially issued the refund. Which is a failure of process on their side. That's immaterial. It's not a customer's problem if there is an internal failure of process. The company is covered by the FCA, so must leave the customer in a financial position as if this had never have happened. Nearly an hour on this call for the record. ...only to be told that one of the agents has told me porkies. Yet another failure of process. Which again, is not a customer's problem. So w enow have another excuse that it'll be another 5 working days. Which, knowing this cycle, means I'll be calling them up to ask where it is yet again. This won't stop the claim though. So it's time to start that process.

Terrible company. When I set up my account & insurance for July 2018-2019, they decided to add my old address to my account instead of my current one (as I would be at my old address for the first 3 days of my policy). Or, to be more accurate, they presumably left my address blank for a few weeks until I provided my proof of no claims discount, which they had requested, and took my now old address from that document & added it to the policy. They then charged me £37 to change it to the new address which was the only address I had actually provided them with. Now, almost a year later, (after they tried to auto-enrol me for another year, which I did not want); I find that they didn't even change my address after all, so I've been unknowingly not covered this whole time, & they have the nerve to try to charge me again. When I said no to that, they cancelled my policy altogether, robbing me of my final 2 weeks of insurance with them. Also, at no point did I actually receive any documentation whatsoever & their customer website rarely allows you to even log on, never mind doing anything once logged on. Horrible & rude staff. Greedy company who clearly have no idea what they are doing.

SOLD MY CAR WITHOUT MY CONSENT Yes unbelievably I was involved in an accident which was not my fault and even though the damage to my car wasn't major my car was written off. All of which I had no problem with. However I rang and spoke with esure to explain that I would be keeping my car to fix the damage myself. I said this to a number of staff over the course of a week all of which told me that this was fine and that my car would be ready to collect soon but I would receive a phone call to let me know once it was ready. I hadn't heard anything for a few days so decided to give them a call to see when I could return my loan car and collect my car. I was told that I could go and collect my car that same day. I dropped off my loan car and called the body work company where I was told my car would be ready for collection. I explained I was on my way to collect my car only to be told that my car had already been taken away and sold at auction along with all my stuff inside. Not only did they sell my car without my consent but sold it along with paperwork and other personal belongings . When I rang esure they said they would investigate what had happened but I didn't recieve a response until a number of WEEKS later (I called alot in this time only to be told that I would have to wait for a response) When I finally did receive a response in the form of an email they did admit that it was their fault and that they had indeed sold my car without my consent and this was 'unfortunate however they had learn't from their mistake and it has been highlighted to the relevant areas of the business to stop this from happening again.' Therefore my misfortune became a lesson for their staff on how not to do their jobs -how wonderful so glad I was able to help !!!!! 😤. I was informed that £300 was deemed to be a sufficient amount for my inconvenience. I am now without a car as well as out of pocket . The fact that this can even happen is an absolute joke but their response is even more insulting. I have taken my complaint to the financial ombudsman.

Took out Windscreen /Glass Cover as part of my car insurance policy , but when my glass roof gets damaged , oh sorry that's not covered ! if my car roof had been damaged ,it would be covered as a body panel , so why not my fixed glass roof , might as well leave & get covered somewhere else , oh we'll charge you again ! for leaving !

Wouldn't waste your time. They'll accept your policy and take your deposit then 2 days later cancel your policy because of an error on your part and leave you without insurance or the deposit to find a new policy. I will never use them again
