“I bought a set of brake discs at a discounted price. Now 3 weeks later they cancel my order and say it is because I did not pay the delivery fee that they asked me to pay by email. I never got said email and now they ask me to place the order again at a much higher price. No.”

“Part shown as in stock. Drove 30 mins. As ever with ECP, queue out the door, two dreamy kids at the desk, 20 mins later got to the front of the queue only to be told the part wasn’t in stock. Couldn’t get a refund in store without going through website. Got part at quarter the price delivered by Amazon. Look how Screwfix do it and learn from them! Everything usually in stock; in and out in under two mins. Always disappointing and always last resort to go to ECP. How do they stay in business.”

“I ordered online and went to collect. They were not doing a separate pickup queue and removed the sign when I queried it. The queue was out the door and not moving. After 15 minutes I gave up because only one person had been served in that time. Two days later was just as long but did move. I will never use again. Manager seemed to wander in but not care.”

“Ordered a part for my Mercedes. Supposedly my reg.no. identifying the correct part number. Having collected it and taken it to the garage for fitting we noticed that in fact it was the same component, but for a BMW.. All the trouble to return it and then re-order the correct one. Not a good Iadvert 'm afraid.”

“Delivery did not turn up but told at northampton dept waiting. I went to collect it but the order was not ready. I used the online car refistration to purchase new wiper blades but wrong ones recommended. Return was straight forward and the staff in the shop pleasant.”

“I collected shock absorbers for my car from Hellaby stockist (I purchased online but it was only local so collected ) the boxes were a little tatty but I didn't look inside My mechanic who is a close personal friend called me later to tell me the shocks were damaged and been fitted before,he did manage to fit them but using different pieces from the old shocks but it's ,not good the parts from Euro car parts were second hand and broken”
