“I would highly recommend Everpresent services to anyone interested in transferring VHS or other media to DVD or drive format. I was so impressed with the service from the initial phone contact with an Everpresent representative to thoroughly explain the process, drop off/pick-up of materials (VHS) at a convenient photograph partner, to the end product which were professionally labeled and packaged. All aspects of the process worked smoothly and the DVDs and drives are perfect!”
“I am very pleased with the work that Everpresent returned to me. My old family photos were handled with care, organized just as I requested, and now they are preserved for the future on flash drives. I was really nervous about sending these irreplaceable photos out through the mail, so the fact that Everpresent picked them up and returned them to me locally was a very big plus. I am telling friends about this great service.”
“Everpresent is an outstanding service for retaining and enjoying old photos.
Each job is personalized and great care taken to keep track of all images sent to them. I have worked with them on 3 projects, 2 of them resulting in paper albums and one electronic only. All very successful.”
“Good results, a bit delayed from original expectations.
Good Communication.
Had to request a re-set of my password and that required some persuasion.”
“I think the service is fantastic. My only recommendation is not to incrementally add cost such as labeling videos and adding to drives.
Very happy with the overall experience.”
“Very nice job on 35 mm color slides from the late 1960s and 8mm camcorder video tapes from early 1990s. On time, on budget, no surprises, no hidden charges. Thanks!”
“Everpresent digitally scanned a several hundred old family slides from the 1960s. The quality of the scans is excellent, especially considering the age and condition of the slides. I appreciated the frequent status updates and very professional process. Thank you for the great work!”
“EVERPRESENT did a very nice, quality transfer of my father's very old home movies in 8 and Super 8 format to a digital format. They also transferred slides for me to digital format. Although the tranfer process took over a month to complete, I was notified of their progress at each step. Then kept me informed often, and I appreciated that. Ultimately, when I picked up my files I was happy with the results. It was somewhat expensive (about $400+ in total), but the quality control and attention detail was the reason why.”
“I was very happy with the consistency and wonderful customer service the Everpresent Team gave me. Their Team let me know everything that was happening, every step of the way with my project. I have had 3 projects finished exactly when they said they would with a complete and comprehensive explanation of the problems they encountered. I received discounts and all my tapes were returned, categorized and clean! I can't thank you enought. Get ready I have more to come.”
“I'm so glad I trusted my project to EverPresent! They were very professional and thoughtful during the entire process, keeping me up to date all along. I'm very happy with the final product! Thank you so much for helping me update what I thought was a project I'd never be able to see again!”
“Everything was done well from checking in of materials to the pick up! Everpresent was organized and very throurough.
Thank you for handling my memories with such care!”
“I was impressed by the interchange with the Everpresent people, especially Jamie. All seemed well until the films that I had sent were returned to me. The first problem was that the USB memory stick was not in fat32 format. This, I admit, was my problem. My TV happens to require this and I did not inform you of that. The second and more serious problem is after copying the files to a fat32 USB memory stick, when attempting to view the files, two error messages show up on my TV: "Unsupported audio format" and "Unsupported video format." I sent a request to Jamie indicating this problem and asked for help in identifying the proper formats but have heard nothing back.”
“Cost was high and the required form was over-complicates for the scanning of just a few (12) photos. The formal / long form makes sense for a large project, but there should be a faster way for simple/straightforward projects. Time to complete the project was long, and I had to call twice to get updates on project status. I had missed an update in my mail(as it went to junk mail) and my first call went unreturned for a week. The explanation for not returning the call was essentially: “Didn’t you get our mail?” Better customer service would be to return the call even if the mail was sent.”
