Thanks for your feedback - it looks like your original recording was created as a VHS slideshow from the 1990s. The effects that you are seeing on the recording were intentional design elements that your videographer used during the recording. “I thought that with modern scanning equipment the scans would at least capture the quality of the original photo. The fuzziness introduced by the scan gave the digital photos a drab look. I had to reedit all scans with windows software, first to give clarity - since I was editing I made other adjustments like lighting and an occasional crop. I got pretty fast at this, as I did not try to get the best possible edit or create art. You might consider a quick-edit service along these lines at a reasonable price. James Burger”

“The video conversion was top notch, the only concern I had was with a gray line at the bottom of the video. I tried calling to get an answer but I was given a voice message for the department involved in the analysis of my video and I never got a response back even though I left a message. I would still like an explanation for why this strange mark is in my video. This is why I am giving only 4 out of 5 stars and not 5.”

We just reviewed your Quality Letter and it looks like we did flag some minor digital corruption which is inherent in older nonstandard PAL tapes.
