“The representatives from Everpresent were delightful to deal with and most of the footage that was digitized was good, especially the 16mm film. I was, however, quite disappointed with some of the 8mm and Super 8mm conversations which were far to jumpy as if the film lost its loop and no one corrected it. This happened on a number of the films, but it wasn’t until I checked them on a projector that I realized that the problem was with your conversion and NOT the film. As it was so long after our business was conducted before I discovered this, I did not complain and seek restitution. This is unfortunate as I am now reluctant to submit anymore projects.”

Ralph, thank you for sharing this with us. I just reviewed your Quality Letter, and there isn't any obvious reason why the footage would be jumpy. I'm going to email you separately, but if you're able to share couple of examples of the reels that you're referring to, our technicians can review and let you know if this can be improved or if it's an unavoidable issue in the capture process. In any event, please don't be shy to let us know about issues like this. It's never too late after a project for us to want to spend time improving.

“Love love love EverPresent!! We love what you did with our videos and photos. The whole family has had a lot of fun viewing and sharing everything. You did a great job organizing the photos on our computers, phones and iPads too! We have such peace of mind now, knowing all our stuff is safe. “Had them digitize my family’s old VHS tapes so we could revisit them at my sister’s bridal shower, and we haven’t watched most in decades (and a couple never). One of the tapes kept fading in and out since there was a pair of children running the camcorder, and all the irrelevant black space was clipped out, while any black space with audio was kept. Made it way more watchable! I’m thinking of going back and getting some of the longer tapes edited into clips since we’d sometimes tape a whole year of activities on one VHS.”

“What Everpresent did with old cassette tapes, VCR tapes, and pictures is beyond incredible. I had irreplaceable concerts, photos, and videos from concerts and musicals that I could no longer enjoy because of their format. Working with Everpresent was so easy...no hassles, they understood completely what I wanted and came through perfectly and in a very timely manner. I could not be happier with the company and their wonderfully competent employees. As I go through "old stuff," I know I'll call on them again to preserve so much of our family's history. I highly recommend them!”

“Their service was ver accommodating and the results were great! We were a bit concerned because the VHS tape we submitted had been crimped a bit, but the final CD was awesome and so great to have these memories forever documented digitally!”

“I have a number of large format glass plate negatives that date from 1900-1910. I had difficulty finding anyone who was willing to take on the project to scan the plates. Everpresent accepted the job, provided high quality raw files, and carefully returned the negatives to me. An all around fine experience for their communications, customer service, and technical expertise. Thank you for saving the images. sac Fitchburg, WI”

“Everpresent does a very good job at digitizing old 16mm family films, especially given that most of them were 60 to 65 years old. No need to send the old films to LA or Chicago. Everpresent is close by. Their website is invaluable for sharing with friends and relatives.”

“I had a very pleasant overall experience with Everpresent from consultation to receiving the final product. I looked forward to bringing in my tape to Everpresent to convert but also I was excited to get to know the business as I work for the Newton-Needham Regional Chamber and the Newton location is a chamber member. At the same time, I was very nervous about sending in our tape to be converted to a digital file because it was my family's only childhood video of my sisters and I so I didn't want to risk losing it. The staff was friendly and the location was very welcoming and cute. The staff walked me through the options and the steps of the process in detail. They had confirmations and consistent communication throughout the process. The project was completed within the week that they mentioned and the quality came out great! Thank you all for helping us keep these special memories!”

“I had about 400 feet of 8mm film of the 1950/60 vintage digitized by Everpresent. I was pleased with the results and the price. I didn't expect them to enhance this old film as I thought that impossible. At times the film was of very poor quality as the person doing the filming was not adept to all situations. But I really enjoyed viewing Everpresent's work and consider the imperfections as part of my family history. As to price, they charged me less than the original quote as the footage was less than estimated. I was pleased with this experience with Everpresent.”

“Easy to deal with, and scrupulous about checking in on how to handle delicate or damaged photos. Reasonably priced. Newton location not the easiest place to find & parking limited although off hrs (not rush hr) never had trouble finding one space out of 3.”
