It would have been if the Aspire Plus lounge had been open at Newcastle. Stay was fine though.

Nice relaxed area to wait for flight, customer service good, drinks available very good and breakfast was nice! Will definitely book again next time I fly out of Newcastle!

Plenty of choice and kept well stocked. Staff were lovely but could maybe do with more staff to clear tables quicker.

Early morning visit - so pleasantly quite.. good coffee. Limit selection of buffet items , but fresh. Table service for the full breakfast, it was on the small side but big enough for me. Enjoyed my visit

The receptionist was not friendly or welcoming she was not au fait with the paperwork so we were stood for a short while as she struggled to book us in not a good start the rest of the stay was fine but we prefer the child free area this was not available at this time

I’m glad I prebooked as there was a waiting list to enter. My only criticism was I was positioned at the central desks where people work on laptops etc. I assume cos I was a lone traveller and they didn’t want me to use the comfy seating that more people in a group use. I am a youthful (I hope) ‘senior citizen’ travelling alone and would have preferred a more comfortable chair for the two hours I was in there. On top of that the young lady opposite never stopped talking on her mobile for the whole of the time I was there. Very annoying. She was multi lingual because she rang several people using several languages. Impressive but still very annoying. There should be a separate place if you need to talk loudly for two hours. The only draw back was you had to scan the table/desk position number to download menu and order online. I was ok cos I had a scan app on my phone and am quite tech able but some people may not be. Took me at least five minutes to sort it out. Hot Food was adequate. Snacks faired better. Enjoyed the cheese crackers salad. Wine was plentiful and staff very friendly. I would book again but ask to be seated more comfortably.

Very friendly staff. Hot breakfast rather limited… bacon rolls and scrambled egg rolls which disappeared fast. Otherwise a calm and pleasant start to my travels.

Quite a basic lounge with basic food. However, especially during the pandemic, it is a much quieter space to enjoy the airport away from the queues below.

The staff were brilliant, it was comfy and the food was nice. But T5 lounge needs to be bigger. In a time of social distancing the walkways are very narrow and everyone is crammed in. There is a staircase to a floor above which is blocked off. This would be ideal for more seating.

Excellent way to spend the hours before boarding. Lounge was clean and not overcrowded. We had a morning flight and the breakfast menu was being served. Reasonable selection of cooked breakfast items although pastries were not replaced enough. Did not have any alcoholic drinks due to morning flight but coffee from the machine was good.

Enjoyed our stay in the Lounge, although we found the layout somewhat uncomfortable, as if it was a bit of an afterthought and just pushed into some odd space that had been left over from the main building. We were there early in the morning and very much enjoyed the choice of breakfast items. The food we had was very well cooked and plentiful. The staff were very efficient with clearing and sanitising tables. My only other criticism is that the machine for tea, coffee etc. had a good selection of caffeinated coffees, but if, like me, you cannot have caffeinated coffee for medical reasons, the only choice of decaffeinated coffee was a sachet of Nescafe - very disappointing.

Easy check in, comfortable, quick service but very busy and sometimes noisy (guest conversation and phone conversations). A designated quiet relaxation area would help.

A nice quiet lounge, ideal for relaxing before a flight. The staff were friendly and did a good job of keeping the lounge clean and tidy. There was a good range of snacks and drinks available.
