“Everything exactly as expected. The only reason I score a three is that having cleared security quicker than expected we were not allowed into the lounge even though it was quiet. Thought this was a bit petty”

“Lack of food; at times only a huge bowl of baked beans left out of the hot breakfast items. We left early in the end as it was overcrowded and we were unhappy with with the whole experience. I wouldn't visit the lounge here again and certainly wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Overall, very poor.”

“This lounge is absolutely amazing. Staff were so attentive and friendly, the food was exceptional and lots of choice and the drink flowed freely. They made our time in the airport spectacular and will certainly be returning!”

“We went early in the morning and there was plenty of food and drinks available and it was being stocked up all the time. Very peaceful and relaxing we had a delayed flight and was allowed to stay in the lounge longer. Staff very professional and friendly definitely would book again”

“Best way to start your holiday relaxing in the lounge. Comfortable seats, food is changed throughout the day (hot and cold ). Free wifi and charging points. The bar has a variety of beers and spirits. Always use this lounge when possible.”

“Great start to our holiday, we had an early fight so really appreciated arriving at airport and having the comfort of the executive lounge, where we received lovely food, beverages, newspapers and great hospitality from the staff, would not hesitate to book the lounge again for future flights.”

“Very very poor choice of food was dismal. I ended up having a scone it was from a supermarket multipack dry and tasteless. Unless you are going to use them to get your share of alcohol there’s no point and as I don’t drink it was an expensive waste of money. Best way to sum it up if I won it as a prize I wouldn’t go”

“I visited Aspire lounge at Heathrow Terminal 5 on 3 January at a special offer of £31. Positive comments would be that there was plenty of choice for food and drink, I was there for late breakfast and then an early lunch too. A negative comment would be that the lounge was very cramped, I was perched on a stool with people constantly trying to squeeze past, the lounge was so busy. Is Aspire admitting too many people at the same time for profit-making, I have to ask? Can the lounge be extended at the back as there seems to be a huge void area unused? Plaza Premium lounge at Heathrow is £40 entry and this offers much more space and comfort although entry is limited to 2 hours whereas Aspire offers 3 hours.”
