“I find ordering very easy but the quality of the retainers can be quite flimsy and poor”

Sorry to hear that Alana, we do have a balance between using really robust thick plastic and making them comfortable for nightly wear. Some people can also be tougher on retainers due to factors like grinding etc.

“There was no option to pay for express delivery. my last retainer has broken already and I leave for New Zealand next Monday so if they’re not here by then that will be over a month and a half of no aligners and this whole treatment would have been a waste of time”

Hi Blake we just sent you a DM, express option unfortunately would not assist in getting new retainers to you next Monday? Unfortunately the process to make them and send to you takes a couple of weeks, usually 2 at present. You can wear your final aligner stage in the interim until you retunr from NZ. Thanks

Hi Jessica some individuals do need to wear retainers permanently for longer than others in order to allow the teeth to settle into the new position. This is the same for any teeth straightening system, whether it be metal braces or Invisalign, EZ SMILE is no different. Once this process occurs then slowly transition to wearing nightly. If they move during the day this process has not occurred so you could benefit from full time wear until teeth do not shift during the day.

“Does it work - ie, move teeth. Yes. Do I have straight teeth? No - but straighter at least. To be fair, I knew I was always on the moderate side of the scope and was honestly surprised when I was accepted/received a plan. It during was the pandemic so I went ahead with it, both out of curiosity and knowing that anything was better than what I previously had. Years later, I just use the retainers to keep my 'better/straighter but not straight' results. I can see how this works for some people who need a minor tweak and would still recommend EZsmile for them. I just don't think it was for me.”

Sorry you feel like this as your before and afters are quite impressive, agree if you spent $6-10k you would achieve a slightly improved result as face to face treatment can use more complex processes. We cant always deliver 100% perfect results but we always guarantee the result you are shown in your simulation. We will also never treat anyone that we can not provide significant improvements for.
