“Project to upgrade 22 years old basic MJ double glazed units in a coastal located house so I went to the market to get 3 quotes for 8 windows and French double door, the front door had already been replaced a couple of year ago. Being a building surveyor I see and inspect various companies’ window ranges. I hear from homeowners about the installation process and the final result etc the whole experience. Fairco have a very good reputation and besides the product for sale now are much better in recent years across the board due to the more demanding building regulations. I chose the A rated triple glazed uPVC as the house is very near the sea. Happy enough with price compared with others but it was also the personnel that confirmed for me Fairco were the company to run with even though another company slightly beat the price.
Paul is a knowledgable and relaxed sales consultant no hard sell - a confidence that comes from knowing he is representing a quality product and service. His manner resonated with me the advice and discussion about the options were helpful.
Communication was excellent with Paul when I made some small changes & an addition and when it came to to arranging the follow up sale call with Paul and then the technical survey and deposit payment etc. I checked out the Clonshaugh showroom delighted with the choices on display. There has been huge improvements in 20-25 year of window manufacturing since the existing windows in the house and the ones available now . A 7 week lead time was super, notification given prior to dates for install.
Fitters came and did a great job over the 3 days needed to properly remove the old windows and fit the new ones. Noel is good craic and all went well thanks to Noel, Victor and Willie.
The windows themselves and the professional fitting of the units have made a fantastic difference to the aesthetic of the house, the air tightness the noise reduction & the heat retention. They were put straight to the test because the installation finished last Friday the day of the storm, the driving wind and rain were outside we were well insulated and well protected from the elements outside. Happy days delighted. Highly recommend the whole Fairco set up star to finish.”
