“The website is laid out well and really easy to use and I was able to read about the tutors' profiles before making a decision on whom I wanted to pick for my daughter. First tutors communicated with me through email really effectively and promptly about messages from the tutors I chose. They also asked me if I had made contact with the tutor I finally chose and assured me I could let them know if there were any problems. They are really thorough, helpful, efficient and professional. I will recommend them.”

“I like the fact that you get to talk to a potential tutor before you sign up but don't feel pressured into accepting them. Also if things don't work out, you get to choose another tutor for free you don't have to pay more than once. Very pleased with the service. My son has found his tutor really helpful. Thank you.”

“Thought that the choice of Tutors was very good. However, £ 14.99 'just' to receive the Tutor's main contact details was overly expensive, seeing that there is little expense in actually advertising on the internet. Perhaps, £ 7.99 would be a more realistic figure.”

Unlike conventional agencies, we do not charge on top of every hour a tutor teaches. “David has been tutoring our children for two weeks now. So far he has been amazing. The kids really enjoy learning with him. David is very easy going and calm which puts the children at ease when they ar working. So far we are extremely happy with David.”

“I have used First Tutors twice now, once to find a tutor for my daughter for her GCSE maths, and now for her A level Economics/Business Studies. She was predicted a C for her maths, and with the help of the tutor (I believe), she passed with a grade A. Im hoping for similar with her A levels! I found the First Tutors website easy to use, and on both occassions I have managed to find a suitable tutor very quickly, and get a routine established with them straight away. Would definitely recommend First Tutors to anyone looking to find a tutor, I felt there was enough information available to allow me to make an informed decision.”

“Very good way to find any tutors in your area or indeed via online lessons. Slightly confusing in using website but everything was set up extremely quickly and easily and would have struggled to find a teacher without it. Thanks to First Tutors.”
