“Thank you First Tutors. It has taken me 6 months to find a tutor for my daughter - other tutor groups didn't respond to emails or calls and we wasted a lot of time desperately trying to find someone to help with her Yr 12 Bio. Once I found First Tutors, the whole process was fast and easy. A great result!”

“First tutors is a good resource. It is helpful to be able to find different tutors offer classes at varying prices for a range of subjects. I have used this site before to find a French tutor. Perhaps the site itself could be a bit more user friendly though.”

“I really liked the website and it was very useful to see a photo of my tutor for when we met. I was a bit confused when it came to accessing my tutor's details as it wasn't clear as to why or how this could be done. There were a couple of boxes to tick so I wasn't sure but my tutor helped me with this. I liked it that I could send and receive messages through my tutor before I decided as her helpful messages helped me to decide that she was a very good sounding tutor before I paid for her details. The details about the tutor were very clear.”

“It’s a very good web site which saves you a lot of time as it carries out all the searches for you. The teachers all seem to be qualified and some specialise in jazz or classical etc. It gives you a choice and if the first teacher does not work out you can change. The teacher I chose is excellent so I am happy how the lessons have progressed”

“Very impressed with the first lesson. Maria created a fun, enjoyable & relaxed learning environment. Maria was very professional, friendly & positive towards us achieving our goal of learning the Greek language. The content was pitched at the correct level for us, challenging however achievable. “An excellent tutor! Peter covered thorough research prior to our meeting, so that he could assist me with a data task that was causing considerable consternation. In a calm, conducive environment, through discussion of the task in detail; I was able to ascertain how to approach it. I had not known where to begin with my task and fortunately now, I no longer have this dilemma, thanks to Peter.”

“I was really unimpressed . The tutor I contacted was prompt with reply through the website but the minute I paid for his details it was a different matter. He said I would contact me to arrange a time to come around and meet us I didn't hear anything so I phoned and arranged a time. We waited for half an hour and he didn't turn up so phoned him to have the response 'oh I forgot about that's followed by a chuckle. I don't find my child's education a joke. He said he'd be round in five minutes later fifteen minutes later he still hadn't turned up so we left it. Shouldn't have to pay for contact details as I wouldn't use this tutor now even if he offered free service as he is unreliable and we were really unimpressed.”
