“Good site. I was looking for a tutor in a hurry to help with my granddaughters GCSE maths and physics. Found one... within one hour we had our arrangements made. He has been a great help too.”

“Although though our tutor has shown all sorts of availability we have yet to connect. We wanted to start immediately but we have been given excuses and a cancellation since taking our fee”

“First Tutors make the process of finding a tutor easy, but more importantly safe. I felt the fact my daughter’s tutor was with a known service, vetting would be involved. We are happy with the process.”

“Would have been a higher rating but think a £25 fee is extortionate. Should be a smaller more nominal fee.”

Dear Emma, Thank you for your feedback. The intro fee is based on the tutor's hourly rate and ranges from 4.99 if you can only afford to pay 10 pounds per hour for tuition up to 25.99 maximum if the hourly rate is in the high range. The intro fee helps cover the costs of ID verifications, qualification verification, reference collection, running of the website, staff etc. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us. “Mai is very engaged and knowledgeable about the skills needed to improve in language. She quickly developed a positive rapport with my son in the first meeting and this proved to me how her interpersonal skills would be effective towards transforming my sons learning habits and providing him with the skills necessary to improve his writing and critical thinking skills. She also provided me with essential feedback necessary for monitoring my son's progress.”

“Contacted a tutor called Andrew and made arrangements for tutoring, then received rude and abusive correspondence from him because I didn't respond to one if his e mails within 24 hours. Never again. Complaints procedure none existent.”

I can see that we did send you a follow up email after your purchase to check everything was going as planned, but unfortunately we did not receive a response. It is our intention to investigate this matter and call the tutor to account.
