“After unsuccessfully trying to find a Language Tutor to learn Spanish close to where I live, I expanded my search to other options within a 20 mile radius, which is not that far. I found First Tutors in my search and signed up to review potential and suitable Tutors. There was no initial payment, which was great, as I did not want to be charged for reviewing the experience and qualifications of Tutors. I was looking for a "One to One" learning experience rather than a class, or doing any online learning. Also I thought it would be a great idea to find a Tutor whose native language was Spanish, but could also speak English. I found quite a lot of tutors who had the experience which I was looking for and contacted a couple, but got no reply, so included the option of extending my search to all available suitable Tutors. Within a day, I was contacted by a lot of suitable Tutors, and made contact with some of them. I selected my preferred Tutors and explained my situation and got a reply from most. There were 3 Tutors who replied quite fast, and after checking qualifications, location and availability, the Tutor I selected was very fast in response and made the provision for me to go for lessons at a time convenient to me. The Tutor I selected, gave me several times which were unsuitable and went to the trouble of arranging a time which was suitable to me. THAT IMPRESSED ME!! I paid £14.99 to First Tutors for access of information to my Tutor, and I had my first lesson this week in a cafe. I found that was a great way to begin, because it gave the Tutor and Myself a chance to meet in a public place so there were safety precautions for both of us. My lessons that follow will be in private. I travel to my Tutor where there will be ample facilities which are not available in a cafe. I would recommend First Tutors, and this review is about their service only, however I am also very impressed with my Tutor's approach and programme for me, and will follow up at a later time.”

“We haven't met our tutor yet but so far we are quite happy with the website as it's very easy to use. We selected three tutors and only two have replied and are happy that they replied with honestly.”

“First day of our appointment he did not came, I call him he apologised and said tomorrow, when I get there he was not there I text him, he said he is coming, came after 35 minutes, the week after our appointment was this week Tuesday 15:00 o'clock. He never came he never call never text, I wasted my money and time.”

“The website was easy to use and once I identified a tutor I was interested in, I was able to communicate with him and establish whether he is available before paying the registration fees. We have planned our first appointment for next week.”
