“Well designed web site. It was good to see photos of many of the tutors and to see how close they lived to our home. I chose a female who is happy to travel to us and although she has only been twice up to now we are very pleased.”

“I paid the £7.99 sign on fee but because the page had expired I then had to pay it again to find another tutor to connect with . It maybe that I done something wrong but at the time it gave me no other choice . It doesn’t seem right to have to pay every time”

I'm afraid we charge an introduction fee for every tutor's details you wish to obtain. This helps cover the costs of security checks on tutors including verifying Photo ID, confirming the tutor resides in the UK and obtaining two independent references. “My son was buzzing with enthusiasm when Rebecca left. She was focused, well organised, straight to the task, recognised gaps in his knowledge, great manner, kind. Arrived early and was already prepared to cover the basics until I ascertain from school where the weaknesses are. A great start, and I am hoping Rebecca will help his confidence in Maths and Science. Very pleased.”

“First tutors site is easy to use and has a selection of tutors from which to choose. Feedback on tutors is available to view together with information on the fees, distance you would have to travel to the tutor or them to you.I have used the site several times now and been very happy with the tutors I have selected.”

“This was a very useful site to locate local tutors. It was fairly straightforward to use but not totally clear how fees were charged (site basically charges a finder's fee once you select a tutor and then you have their contact details). It felt slightly clunky having to open a query and do dialogue through the chat function, and it wasn't immediately clear how to close a query if we decided against a tutor for reasons of practicality. Overall, I would use the site again.”
